Jack congratulated Nadine because she caught the criminals.

Mrs. Peabody told Jack he obviously didn´t wait on the Golden Gate Bridge
because when Mrs. Peabody called Jack, he heard the sound of the ship,
the ship horn then he looked at his watch, It was exactly 12:30, then he
looked at the newspaper and he read the schedule for ship sailing, he read
Friday October 2nd, 12:30 Pier 13 the Pacific Jewls sailing for Hong Kong.
Nadine called Jack “smart” because he deduced that Mrs. Peabody was in
Pier 13 and not in the Golden Gate Bridge.
Mrs. Peabody asked her husband where he was last night then he
answered he couldn´t remember, finally Jack said that he was in his office.
She confessed that first of all she entered Mr. Peabody studio, she said
she didn´t want to, but Slouch wanted some photos Slouch wanted
outside then he came in, he hit Mr. Peabody on the head with his camera,
they looked everywhere but, they couldn´t find the right photos.
Nadine asked Jack why they wanted the photos, Jack answered that they
didn´t want all the photos, they wanted only one photo where Slouch was
giving a bag of money to Slouch.
He remembered everything when he saw the photo where Dolly, Slouch
and Diyce were at the fashion show last night, and he also remembered
that he took the photos to Dolly when Mr. Diyce was giving the bag of
money to Slouch at the fashion show then Mr. Peabody gave the roll of
film to his wife and he said Good Bye.
Nadine asked Jack what the money was for, and Jack answered that Mr.
Diyce paid a lot of money to Slouch because Dolly stole Mrs. Peabody´s
designs and Mr. Diyce copied the designs to make money.
