End-Term Evaluation Assignment


**The End-term Evaluation Assignment shall carry 100% of your term’s evaluation**

As a part of your assignment of 100%, for CBCS module, you shall be selecting 10 spices or
herbs of your choice, with the prior approval of the faculty and prepare a report on the same
with the below mentioned topics to be covered for each of the 10 ingredients.

- Botanical Description of the ingredient


- Latin name of the ingredient
- Brief about the ingredient
- Medicinal Properties
- Ayurvedic Benefits and medicinal uses
- Contraindications and Side-effects of the ingredient
- Culinary uses of the ingredient.
- Ayurvedic properties and purposes of the ingredient.
o Ras
o Gun
o Virya
o Vipak
o Doshas

The above mentioned points are the minimum requirements of the report/assignment. You may
include various other topics that you wish to write at your own discretion.
