What is the most relevant issue/problem in your community and how does your Church

participate in combating such issue?

Technological context is the most relevant issue in our community. Due to technological
advancement mainly smartphones, a lot of the citizens in our community especially at this time
of pandemic spend their time on their smartphones watching, playing or any thing that will ease
their boredom. They tend to forget the things they need to do and most of them become lazy not
only to household chores but also to the spiritual things. The church conducts an online services
in-order for us to maintain our spiritual health in good condition but most of the people prefer
watching movies and playing online games than participating in online mass gathering. The
church conducts a bible study for children in different barangay in our community. In this way,
they can be able to acquire knowledge about the word of God not only making tiktok videos. The
church also forms a cell group ministry that is held during Tuesday until Saturday at different
barangay because they are not able to go to church due to the pandemic disease. This way, they
can spend their time not only to other things but also, to the spiritual things that God wants us to
do. Because of these activities, they can minimize their time that is being consumed to social
media and any other form of distraction that hinders them to live a Christian life.
