BACHELOR OF LAWS
Guidelines
2. The scope of the examination can be broad i.e. it can either cover
crosscutting development issues, or focus on a specific development issue. This
scope is left to the discretion of each group and will be dependent on the context
in the country of choice.
3. In either of the two options above, the group is required to assess the
‘development model’ in the country of choice by examining dimensions of
development such as political, economic and social (including cultural where
relevant). This assessment entails examining how the political system correlates
with the economic, social and other aspects of development under consideration
in the country of choice.
4. The analysis should include the pros & cons of the development model while
drawing key insights or lessons that can be learned by Kenya.
