One summer it grew so hot
That the lake Started to dry up
D1: the lake is drying up there is hardly any water left for us to
drink
D2: we must fly away soon and find another home
T: friends i will come along please take me with you
D1: but you can't fly and you walk so slowly movies so far ahead
of you if you try to follow us
T: please please find a way to take me along too

The geese were good friends so they came up with a

way to take the tortoise with them
D1: we will hold the ends of this stick with our
beaks
D2: you must hold the middle of the stick with your
teeth
D1: and you must not say a word until we are back
on the ground
D2:If you do so you will surely fall down
T: uhuh
I promise i won't utter a single word

And so the two geese flew into the sky carrying the
stick in the tortoise as they were flying song
sparrows so the tortoise and the geese
S: to get that tortoise i wonder where the geese
are taking him
Oh the poor thing i hope that you're not troubling
him or kidnapping him

The sparrows comments made the tortoise so upset

that he forgot all about the promise that he had
made to his friends he opened his mouth to scold
the sparrows

T: hey

And when he did he fell right to the ground the

porgies felt very sorry for the tortoise

D2: i wish our friend had thought twice before

speaking
D1: i wish he would have kept his mouth shut then
he would still be here with us

The geese were right you should always think before
