Actions Worksheet: Lecture Five

How to Use Facebook and Twitter to Market Your Freelance

Writing Business

1. Go to bufferapp.com, create a free account and link your social media

accounts to it. It’s intuitive enough, but have a play around with how it works
and the different features it offers.

2. From your Buffer account, install the Chrome or Firefox add-on that means
you can ‘Buffer’ articles from around the web with just a click of a button.
3. Start sharing every article you read in relation to your niche, freelance writing,
online marketing, and anything else you think appropriate. Don’t forget to
mention the person who wrote each post in your Tweets and other shares.
4. Interweave some of your own online content into your social media shares,
including that which you’ve written for any clients if it’s relevant to your fans
and followers.
