First of all I will define what is a Paradigm shift and than I will give an example, that I

personally found really interesting and amusing which has great relation to Paradigm shift.

A paradigm shift describes the nature of scientific revolutions, or fundamental changes in

the basic concepts and experimental practices of a scientific discipline…

Thing I want to write about today is Kuhnian Paradigm shift:

An epistemological paradigm shift was called a "scientific revolution" by epistemologist and

historian of science Thomas Kuhn

A scientific revolution occurs when scientists encounter anomalies that cannot be explained
by the universally accepted paradigm within which scientific progress has thereto been
made. The paradigm in here is not simply the current theory, but the entire worldview in
which it exists, and all of the implications which come with it. This is based on features of
landscape of knowledge that scientists can identify around them...

Great example of this is following image…

Duck-Rabbit illusion shows the way in which a paradigm shift could cause one to see
the same information in an entirely different way.
