1. INTRODUCTION
Busbar 3D 2.0 is a program that allows easy busbar line creation in 3 dimensions. You can form a line
between the transformer and the cabinet through automatic layout method and realize automatic vertical
configuration processes thanks to the Busbar 3D 2.0 program.
Along with creating automatic lines, you can also view the detailed information regarding such created
busbar lines on the report screen and convert the report screen into different formats such as Excel, XML,
HTML or Text File.
Busbar 3D 2.0 program allows you to save the file you are working on as a DWG file and at the same time to
open a DWG file in the Busbar program and work on it.
You can carry out your work via the language option you will select in the program.
2. SCENE FEATURES
2.1 Scene Introduction: You will see the drawing page once you open the Busbar program. Let us study the
menus on this drawing page briefly.
a) General Prompts: You can access the general prompts you will need when you are
creating your project from this menu.
b) View Menu: It includes prompts that will help you see a different view of your active
project, seizable points on the object, and create vertically intersecting drawings on X,
Y and Z planes.

("Menu" sections will automatically appear when you use the other prompts.)
3. GENERAL PROMPTS These are the prompts that allow you to perform processes on the active busbar drawing
page. It is placed in the uppermost part of your drawing page.
ADD;
Drawing: This is the prompt required to make PLine drawing on your active drawing page.
New: It allows you to add a new busbar line on your drawing page with the features you have
determined.
Panel: It allows you to add a cabinet module on your active drawing page.
Cast Resin Transformer: It allows you to add a dry type transformer on your active drawing
page.
Oil Type Transformer: It allows you to add an oil type transformer on your active drawing
page.
Floor Tab: It allows you to add a floor cross section in your active projects.
Automatic Line Layout: You can form an automatic line by making a PLine drawing which your
line will follow. For detailed information on Auto Create, refer to the section titled Creating Line by Auto Create
Method on page 21.
Vertical Line Layout: By using this prompt, you can perform vertical configuration process of a
line created vertically according to the line cross section parts. For detailed information on Vertical Line Adjustment,
refer to the section titled Creating Line by Auto Create Method on page 32.
Group: You can group the objects you wish to move together by using this button so that they
may move together.
TOOLS:
Distance Dimension: This prompt is used to give dimension the Line and PLine lines in your
project.
Connect Ends: It helps you combine your angled PLine with your other PLine line.
Check Vertical Line: This is a control-purpose button to avoid wrong arrival of plug-ins to the
line projected vertically.
Panel and Transformer Connection: This prompt helps you create a line automatically after
you have chosen your Panel or transformer with the aid of Ctrl button.
LINE ;
Node Adding: You can add a node (Adding Point) on the PLine line you have created and drag
it by holding by the node.
Delete and Move: It is the deleting or moving prompt from a point on your PLine line which is
determined by marking any point, up to the nearest point.
Delete Point: It is the prompt to delete the point you have marked.
Line Height: You can adjust the height of your line by this prompt.
Connect Z: When your PLine line is highlighted, you can connect it to your Panel by pressing
this prompt.
Mirror the Line Point: You can view the mirrored form of your PLine line as leaned to left or
right by selecting the midpoint of your PLine line and using this prompt.
Adding Column Vertically: You can add a new horizontal column by pressing the yellow point
you have determined on the PLine line.
Adding Column Horizontally: You can add a new vertical column by pressing the yellow point
you have determined on the PLine line.
Automatic Line Layout: You can form an automatic line by making a PLine drawing which your
line will follow.
CAD Files: In this section you can access detailed information about imported AutoCAD file (DWG, DXF
files), use the file as colored or uncolored, view all layers on it, or find the prompts which help you turn on or off
your DWG from the scene.
Extra Parts: In this part of our Busbar 3D 2.0 version you can create flawless material lists and convert into
different formats such as Excel, XML, HTML. (It is the material creation tool that allows you to switch to order by
creating the lines quickly and easily without drawing and by searching with the product codes.) You can see how to
prepare material lists on page 37.
Chart: You can view the numbered Busbar parts list of your Busbar line that you have created in your
project; if you wish, remove the output box that you have added by printing as OutBoxes and get this list from the
printer.
Voltage Drop: You can find the Voltage Drop Calculation and power calculations about Busbar parts in
this section. See page 37 for details.
3.1 View Menu: View menus are placed at the bottom part of the active drawing page in the Busbar program.
Prompts on the view menus offer you not only different view options (top view, right view, etc.) but also many other
prompts that may be helpful for you to actualize many processes during drawing (Ortho 3D, DXF...etc). Sum Grid
prompt has been newly added to this menu. If the prompt is marked, it will show you the sum of Busbars you used in
your project in the same way more than once as well as its name and your line format.

2.Ortho; Allows you to make drawings vertical to each other on X and Y planes.

4.Sum Grid; Ensures hiding of the grid in your active project and shows the sum of Busbar, name and
your line format.
5.View; Total menu for line of vision and view formats.
6. 3P; You can make the structural layout by determining 3 points while placing the Transformer-
Cabinet-Layer Cross Section.
7.View Options; It allows you to view your active project from different viewing options (top, bottom,
left, right, front, back, wire views).
8.Angular View; It allows you to view your active project from different angles by using angular view
options.
9.Wire Cage View; It allows appearance of objects in your active project in the form of a wire cage.
Details:
Busbar: This the menu where you can access all information regarding the highlighted part on the
drawing page and carry out relevant processes in connection with such selected part.
Products: Busbar Parts: You can access all busbar parts belonging to the busbar class you have determined
and perform part change and carry out the deletion process.
Busbar Line: It enables you to change the general information regarding your selected busbar line. With
the ”Change Line” button you can makechanges on your line's product group.
Line Combine: To combine two separate PLine of yours, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard pressed to
mark the first PLine you have selected and the other PLine. Once you press the "Line Combine" button in the
Prompts Menu, both PLine lines will be combined automatically. You can correct any uneven connection by
holding from the yellow point at the end. The far end of the line that has been selected first shall be
determined as the startup point.
In addition, by pressing on the yellow point which you have determined on the PLine line, you can add a new
column (Add Column-Add Beam).
3.2 Busbar Parts: The section where Busbar Parts are listed (when you add a new flag in your drawing page,
Busbar Product Group will appear) is a section which is active when you determine the features of that line.
By pressing Add Favorites on the lower left part of the product window, you can add favorite Busbar general
features and then use your favorite series from here quickly.
Unless a line is added to the scene or if there is not any highlighted line on the scene, busbar parts section
shall remain passive.
4. Mouse Movements:
• Yellow Button:
This button will ensure fundamental functions throughout the project such as
object selection, object mobilizing and object dimensioning.
• Blue Button:
This menu includes shortcut prompts that you can realize on the active object
easily. E.g.: (move, copy, delete, etc.)
• Red Button:
A. If you press and hold the red button and move the mouse, you can move the scene
completely. If you move the reed button up and down, you can zoom in and zoom
out the scene.
B. While in the 3-dimensional (isometric) view, you can move your mouse by pressing
the Red and Blue buttons simultaneously. (F4 enables you to switch to plan
perspective view easily.)
5. STRUCTURALS:
5.1 Transformer: There are two different types of transformers. These are the oil type and the cast
resin type transformers.
• Oil Type Transformer: There are 4 pieces of bushings and 3 pieces of oil type coil on an oil type
transformer. Pa (Bushing Distance) value of the oil type transformer is 170 as default and Pb value
(Distance from Center) is 240mm as default. By adding a flag on the oil type transformer and then
adding a busbar startup part you can create a line.

Important: There are 3 bushings in vertical and one bushing in horizontal on cast resin type transformers to meet
the bushings of the busbar parts added on it. An additional part can also be added to be able to meet the 4 bushings
on the busbar module of the horizontal bushing.
5.2 Cabinet: You can add cabinet modules to the scene by using the panel button in the prompts
section. Once the cabinet module is added to the scene, the Cabinet Tab menu in connection with it will
be opened automatically.
5.3 Floor Section : It is a module which should be used in vertical configuration processes of floor cross
section part.
Floor gaps shall be stated on a line continuing vertically. You can add to the scene by clicking on
the floor cross section button in Prompts menu. When you add layer cross section to the scene, related

6.Outboxes: Outboxes are added on plug-in and bolt-on busbars. Different adding processes are
available on plug-in and bolt-on busbars. To add an outbox on the busbar, please follow the steps below.

13- Settings: Settings Menu is on the upper part of the Busbar program screen.

14- Quick Access Toolbar: To customize the quick access toolbar in the program, you can use this section.
15-Background – Standard Skins: It enables you to change the background image of our working screen.
16- Reports: Drafted project can be reported by means of this function. For this, an Excel file including the
material list will also be sent to the e-mail address from which you sent your DWG Request.
Voltage Drop: It makes power calculation on a separate sheet for each line according to the processes carried out
on the project with the information with fixed value (Cos Ø, Sin Ø, Diversity, Utility Voltage(V)) and it can be saved as
Excel file.
Extra Parts; It is the material creation tool that creates the lines quickly and easily without drawing and by
searching with the product codes. You can create your Material List by making selections from the product group
you like in the tab which is opened after determining the line name.
