I was once a wonderful world,
With crystal water,
And dancing clouds,
And trees that stretch miles and miles.
Then humans developed,
I treated them as best as I could,
I loved them,
Did they love me?
People say they love us –
Cutting us down, turning us into furniture,
Is that true love?
I used to be as stunning as the sea,
Now observe me,
I’m no longer a beauty.
Everytime I blink,
My friend’s silhouette disappears.
To witness my friends dying,
I just feel like crying.
The coastline is ruined,
As thin as silence, as bare as skin;
The sea was as dull as the sky,
The boats slurped all the fish,
The sand was as dark as the abyss,
I am as filthy as a sewer.
My air is damp
It smells like smoke,
It tastes like death,
It is the worst feeling ever,
To feel frosty, human breath
Lots and lots of animals,
Amphibians, insects and mammals
Oh! How delightful they were, near and far,
But now they’re all endangered,
All my creatures are slowly disappearing.
You take, take, take but never give.
One by one, hear them cry
As the last of them die.
I rely on you,
As well as you’re relying on me,
You’re my only aid.
You’re the only one who can save me.
So this is the time, the only time.
Please do something or at least try.
Stop the damage on your planet. Stop hurting
me.

Listen to the plea of the Earth.
Protect the environment, do it right!
The change starts within all of us.
Let’s take care of the world so it will live until
the future generations.
