Guidelines for 03-SD-1V Handover

 Arrange a dedicated area operator for TP-301B.

 Select 03-SD-1V on ‘Manual’.
 Close TP-301B ETV and decrease speed to zero, do not operate governor as it is adjusted for TP-
301B full load speed.
 Isolate TP-301B from HS/LS sides and open drains to depressurize 03-SD-1V circuit (ensure no
passing in I/V)
 After isolation/depressurization, handover 03-SD-1V for valve removal and installation of spool in
its place.
 After installation of spool, carryout TP-301B heating from LS and HS sides u/s of ETV and remove
any condensate,
 Gradually full open HS steam inlet block valve (u/s of 03-SD-1V), keep ETV in closed condition.
 Crack open ETV to put TP-301B on rolling and adjust speed ~1500rpm.
 In case of I-10A or any emergency requirement of TP-301B operation, immediately open ETV to
achieve full load speed (~6000 rpm).
 Dedicated area operator to remain stationed at TP-301B till availability of 03-SD-1V.
