Organizational Strategy

The organizational strategy concept entails actions put in place by corporate management

to ensure the attainment of both short and long-term goals of a company. The functional strategy

is one type of an organizational strategy employed by businesses. This strategy is centered on

ensuring optimality and efficiency of the firm’s operations. Another organizational strategy is the

cooperative strategy that focuses on the formation of partnership and alliances with other

organizations. E-business strategy is another organizational strategy that prioritizes on the use of

the internet as the primary platform for conducting business activities. According to Mantere,

(2013) business strategy is another organizational strategy that primarily focuses on ensuring

competitive advantage of a firm.

However, every enterprise must take into consideration various aspects before they

implement a given strategy. For example, for a company operating in a market characterized by

intensive competition they ought to employ either functional or business strategy. This assertion

rests on the fact that both strategies have the potential to make a company unique and appealing

to consumers more than their competitors hence building the competitive level of a company. On

the other hand, a corporation working at a global scale ought to implement either the E-business

or cooperative strategy. This affirmation rests on the fact that the two strategies foster the

accessibility of company’s products or services to a broad market share.
