DECISION TIME!
The decision as to whether you need to do
something to boost your team’s power,
your organization’s inherent strength, and
to inspire and fire up each team member is
a turning point. There’s several ways to do
it but how do you decide whether
drumming and music is a good workshop
idea for your team?
IF YOU ANSWER NO to any of these
questions you might want to look at Team
Building Drum Circle Workshops as part of
your strategy to improve things.
(And you know what happens if you don’t improve things.)

YOUR FIRST GUT INSTINCT IS RIGHT!
1) Did we meet or exceed our sales or revenue or
other crucial targets this year? If your team can’t
achieve the goals they set for themselves, either their
goal setting isn’t realistic or there’s something holding
them back.
2) Is our staff morale high? Is there excitement,
energy, joy, healthy competition, a culture of being
candid and open, and a sense of equality and
gratitude amongst your team players?
WWW.DRUMMINGANDHEALTH.COM 7
3) Are our teams functioning efficiently? Does it
seem like there is never time to do things right the
first time but more than enough time to do them over
again? Do simple things seem to take longer than they
should? Is instituting new systems and technology met
with resistance?
4) Is there a high degree of cohesion amongst our
staff? Is the “lone wolf” mentality common among
your people? Is there confusion about authorities and
differing perhaps contradictory policies. Do you
reward teamwork?

5) Are managers and supervisors working together
in a trustful, inspired way with their teams?
Leading is a fine art. Are your team leaders effective or
just “going through the motions”? Are they feeling
disempowered or stuck? Or do your leaders have a
clear sense of corporate mission and their personal
role in that outcome?
6) Have all the challenges, disputes, conflicts,
differences of opinions, and tense moments been
resolved? Every organization has “the elephant in the
room” and the “skeletons in the closet”. Festering,
unresolved issues between even just a few team
members can sink your boat.

7) Do all our staff and teams exhibit high levels of
creativity and self-initiative in resolving problems
and developing solutions? Are sales going down or
flat? Do you wish staff were more inspired and new
things were being created?
8) Are our sick leave and “mental health days” stats
getting better or worse? The more challenges in your
teams and workplace the more staff will feel stressed
out, tired, and want to get away from work. If they are
skipping work, they might interviewing for jobs with
your competitor. Are you and your leaders
approachable?

9) Is our employee retention rate healthy? Does it
seem like you’re always hiring and training because
people are always leaving? Most people don’t quit
their jobs...they quit their bosses! Are you prepared to
stem the tide by investing in your current staff team?
10) Is our organization in the top 10% of our
industry? To claim a lion’s share of the market and
create a truly stellar business means that thousands
of factors have be maximized...starting with your staff
team. Even a micro improvement in the mindset of
your people could change everything!

Can you imagine
what your business
would be like if you
could answer Yes
to all the
