The K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten, six (6) years of primary education, four (4)

years of Junior High School and the additional two (2) years of Senior High School. The

program is expected to produce competent and world class professionals that can complete

worldwide. The new and additional two (2) years of education or also well-known as the Senior

High School, is the preparation for the students to be globally competent and competitive. The

Senior High School Program prepares students and be work-ready whether they choose to enter

the corporate already or continue studying in college. Students have lots of strands to be an

option namely: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Accountancy,

Business and Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); General

Academic Strand (GAS); and Technical Vocational (TechVoc.). Each strand has their own

specialization depending on what the Junior High School Graduate or Completer will choose

depending on what they will pursue in college, interests and reasons.

Focusing on the STEM Strand, STEM is an academic track which means Science,

Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Science, Technology, Engineering, and

Mathematics are intertwining disciplines when applied in the real world. The difference of the

STEM curriculum with the other strands and tracks is the focus on advanced concepts and topics.

Under the track, you can become a pilot, an architect, an astrophysicist, a biologist, a chemist, an

engineer, a dentist, a nutritionist, a nurse, a doctor, and a lot more. For those who are also

interested in Marine Engineering should take this track.
