political and defense aspects 774 on January 16, 1968, but this policy was not
satisfied by the people of the Emirates in general, and therefore many of the
senior and sheikhs of the Emirates, such as the ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed
bin Sultan Al Nahyan And Sheikh Rashid, the Emir of Dubai, met at a meeting to

December 2, 1971, the seven emirates put in place a law providing for the
formation of the Emirates. Modern The modern era began in the state since 1970
AD; Since that time, the city continued to achieve large revenues from the sale of
oil and trade, and this contributed to the influx of large numbers of migrants
fleeing the Lebanese civil war, and by the year 1979 AD, a port was established in
the free zone located in Jebel Ali. Since 1985, the port has become one of the
sites on which foreign companies depend in the supply and export operations,
and the Gulf War of 1990 negatively affected the state. Many people, their
business operations, and their money withdrew from the area for fear of financial
losses as a result of the war, but the city returned to growth and prosperity again
after a short period; It has become a center for many Gulf and foreign commercial
malls, thus making it the owner of the fastest growing city in the world.
