Vide Jetter referred above, Railway Board has approved DEGilbading? | desigh @riterid: The approved DFC loading (32.5t axle load) and design criteria are as under 1. DFC loading (32.5t axle load): Following train formation has been taken for the DFC Loading (i) Electric Locos: 15000t trains are contemplated to be run on DFC for 32.5 1 axle load operations on a gradient of 1 in 200. For hauling such trains, Electric Locos with maximum axle load of 25t are to be deployed in either of the following combinations:- (a) Two 12000 HP. 8 axle, twin Bo-Bo Jocos (starting T.E.:84t). One q.shall-be provided in front and other loco in middle or rear. A Double headed 6000 H.P. diesel locos with 25t axle load with starting tractive effort of 63t per loco are to be deployed.(Maximum tractive effort will be 126 t for double headed operation) Based-on'above, five load combinations have been approved for DFC loading (32.5 t axle load). Details of five load combinations are enclosed as Annexure-1. Salient features of the DFC loading (32.5t axle load) are as below, 1. Maximum Axle Load of locos = 28t 2. . Maximum Axle Load of Wagons = 32.5t 3. Maximum Tractive Effort = 126t 4 Braking Force of Locos = 25% of Loco weight 5. Braking Force of Train Load = 13.4% of Train Load 6. TLD = 12.13¢m 7. Center of Gravity = 3.0m 2. Design criteria for DFC loading (32.5t axle load): The approved design criterion for DFC" loading (32.5t axle load) is enclosed as Annexure-2. DA: As above.
