Festival will be held at the Corners of 2nd St. S.E./3rd St. S.E., and Post Ave., S.E., Winter Haven, Fl
The May Day Festival of Central Florida was very successful last year(2010). Historic Pughsville
Association, Inc., will continue to host this Festival again this year.
Historic Pughsville Association, Inc., will continue with its efforts to commemorate the Historic Day of
May 20, 1865 when the Slaves in Florida were Emancipated.. Until recent times, the May Day celebration
was widely recognized throughout the State, and it is Historic Pughsville Association, Inc., desire to revive
it as a major festival designed to educate and entertain Residents and Visitors alike.

TO ALL VENDORS PLEASE NOTE : HISTORIC PUGHSVILLE ASSOCIATION, INC., WILL BE
THE SOLE VENDOR SELLING DRINKS(WATER, SODAS, AND JUICE) AT THIS FESTIVAL

Note: you certify that this is an independent venture, having no business relationship with the Hisroric
Pughsville Association, Inc., or its sponsors. You are solely responsible for any license, permit, insurance,
liability and security for your business. Space measures ten feet by ten feet (10‘x10’). Vendor will
provide shelter, table/s, chair/s, cord/s, hose/s, and signage. Absolutely, positively no sub-leasing; all
vendors must register directly with the Historic Pughsville Association, Inc. Proper conduct is essential;
this is a family-style event. Vendors are asked to please remove tow vehicles from the festival grounds
quickly to minimize traffic jams.
