As a change agent for Sprig Organization, I have several roles and
responsibilities. One of these roles is to create a powerful change vision.
This is a picture of what Sprig will look like after changes have been made, by looking like that we can take advantage of big opportunities and motivate people which is essential to any successful change. Another role is for me to get colleagues and management involved in communicating using well-defined communication strategies and discussing future visions. As a change agent, I have to listen and help people involved take risks and step out of their comfort zones, I have to discuss with them any ideas they have, and understand their personal implications which will help them feel better about making change. I find ways to hold people accountable, and make sure that appropriate rewards – or punishments – are handed out as necessary. Developing and improving the meals quality in terms of freshness and using less processed ingredients, improving the flavor, this helps in improving Sprig’s reputation and gain more recognition. This will also help the organization gain more profit. Generally, when a change is introduced, it affects the organization in all dimensions, and many employees will resist change. My responsibility is to slowly chip away at this resistance, by finding the employees who have some influence on Sprig and partner with them, when colleagues find that out, they are likely to be willing to accept the change rather than oppose.
