1. The teacher will start the unit by giving pre-test.

Teacher will discuss and explain the following topics using PowerPoint or textbook. 3.1 Growth and development Infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age 3.2 Human systems (parts and functions) Digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system 3.3. Food and nutrition Carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, water and fiber, balanced diet, food pyramid 4. The students will answer workbook exercises. (Wp7-12) 5.
