Playing video games can make your muscles, joints, skin or eyes hurt. Follow these instructions to
avoid problems such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, skin irritation or eyestrain:
• Avoid excessive play. Parents should monitor their children for appropriate play.
• Take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour, even if you don't think you need it.
• If your hands, wrists, arms or eyes become tired or sore while playing or if you feel symptoms such
as tingling, numbness, burning or stiffness, stop and rest for several hours before playing again.

visual presentation of Deadly Creatures™.

Extras
Here you can view any Concept Art you have unlocked during the game. The
Galleries contain more than 100 pieces of artwork! You can also view the game’s
Credits from this menu.

Highlight an EMPTY SLOT to begin a new game.

Saving & Health Pause Menu

From the Pause Menu you can select Continue, Adventure Status, Collection
Saving Status, Moves List, Audio Options, Input Sensitivity and Quit.

To save your game, enter a cloud of green Fireflies. If you die, you will restart Continue
at the last Fireflies checkpoint you saved at. This is also where you will begin Return to gameplay.

Adventure Status
This screen lists the current chapter and area, as well as the following:

• Predator Goals
As you kill enemy and prey creatures throughout the game, you will earn
points. When enough points are collected, you will automatically unlock new
combat moves and attack upgrades.

This screen also shows all available creatures for the current chapter, as well
as their point values.

• Adventure Goal
Health As you progress through the Adventure, you will receive Adventure Goals to
complete. You will always have one active Adventure Goal.
Stalk, kill and feed on Crickets, Pillbugs and Grubs to regain health. Simply walk
up to a dead Cricket, Pillbug or a Grub to feed on it. • Current Points
Lists your current points and when the next combat upgrade will be awarded.
When playing as the Scorpion, you can also regain some health from completing This information resets each chapter.
Finishing Moves. When playing as the Tarantula, you can use the Feed attack
(once unlocked) to regain health from overturned enemies. Collection Status
In addition to Adventure Goals and Current Points, this screen also lists:
Feeding on Leaf Crickets will increase your Maximum Health. You can check the
Collection Status screen for the next Health upgrade. • Leaf Crickets
As you find and kill green Leaf Crickets, you will be able to upgrade your
Health Meter. This screen also tells you how many Leaf Crickets are needed
for the next Health Upgrade.

As you explore the environments, you can feed on wriggling Grubs. Collect

THQ is not responsible for unauthorized returns of Product and reserves the right to send such unauthorized returns

Repairs after Expiration of Warranty


After the ninety (90) day warranty period, defective Product may be replaced in the United States and Canada
for US$25.00. The original purchaser is entitled to the replacement of defective Product for a fee, only if proof of
purchase is provided to THQ. Make checks payable to THQ Inc. and return the product along with the original proof of
purchase to the address listed above.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY LIMITED TO NINETY (90) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE
AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL THQ BE LIABLE FOR
CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED

The provisions of this warranty are valid in the United States only. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts or exclusion of consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations and exclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may
