Requests for Educational Grants from the Imperial Council must be sent
through the following application process
a. Each Temple in the Domain should select one student best qualified for an
Educational Grant and submit that application to your Desert. This will preclude the
Imperial Council from having to evaluate over two hundred plus applications each
year.

b. Each Desert should have an Educational Grant Selection Committee to evaluate

the applications received from each Temple in the Desert and select the student
best for an
qualified Council Educational Grant. Submit that application to:

All Applications must be postmarked no later than June 30th to qualify.

C. Please be mindful that this process does not restrict a Temple or Desert from
awarding any other scholarships.

APPLICANTS, THE FOUNDATION AWNARDS PROCESS WILL REQUIRE
FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS:

Information on Foundation Awards Application Form and other required documents must
be typed or printed neatly. Be sure to complete the following areas on the form.

1. Application form in full

i. List all colleges, Vocational, Technical schools where applicant has
applied for admission
ii. Academic awards / honors
ii. Community awards / honors memberships or programs
iv. Applicants area of specialization (Majors or course of study in
college)
2. Two letters of recommendation (other than relatives)*
i. One personal reference from someone in the community, i.e.,
chool teacher oradministrator, minister, coach, employer, etc)
ii. One academic reference
3. Official high school transcript
4. Biographical sketch including applicants future career plans (typed- one
page maximum)
5. Copy of Acceptance Letter(s)
6. Include a yearbook picture (picture will not be returned)
7. Application must be signed by the Deputy of the Desert or it will not
be accepted."
These documents must be attached and submitted with the attached application form
or the applicant will not be considered for an award.
