Some people think that studying a practical subject such as science or technology
is more relevant nowadays for young people’s career prospects than studying the
arts. Others think that the arts are more important.

We live in a time when almost every student dreams of career growth and success.
The society actively discusses which subjects at school and university contribute to
rapid career growth and professional development.  Education programs adapted to
each student are becoming more popular around the world, when students can
choose their own subjects to study. Some people claim that only applied subjects
are useful in practice, while others believe that arts are no less useful for young
people.
Speaking about the benefits of technology and science, it is worth noting that such
subjects are stimulators for social progress. Students will be able to improve our
lives by creating or learning something new. Modern companies are also actively
looking for talented and competent students who have graduated from technical or
scientific universities, because every company needs young personnel.Commercial
companies usually provide good working conditions and career opportunities.
There is a point of view that art, history and culture form the worldview of a
person, and these are no less important subjects than science, IT or technology. Art
gives a person an idea of who we are, what mistakes were made in the past. The
development of society is not only due to practical subjects. No one knows what
skills will be useful for young students in the future, so the study of art has a
beneficial effect on the development and potential of students.
In my opinion, you should choose a few basic subjects and study them as much as
possible. However, at the same time supplement your worldview with other
subjects such as history and art. This will make the student even more versatile.
