(See Fig. I-1,) © Motor Drive ‘The TMD-21 Hall Motor employes the Hall Element to detect the position of magnets, When an N pole is positioned opposite the Hall Element H1 in Fig. 1-2, a positive voltage is generated in HI. This voltage is then amplified in ICI-3, and then applied to Q8 after passing through R31. Once Q8 is turned ON, B+ voltage is applied to LI. The current flowing through Li, and the magnet's magnetic field, pro- duces a magnetic force and rotates the rotor in the Girection of the arrow. When the rotor rotates by 22°30, an $ pol be positioned opposite the Hall Element H2 in 1-3, thus resulting in the generation of a neg. voltage in H2. This voltage is amplified by Ic passed through R36, thus tuming QI1 ON, resulting in B~ voltage being applied to 12, current flowing through L2, and the magnets netic field, produce a magnetic force, again in same direction as before. Therefore, N poles and $ poles are repeat Positioned opposite HI and H2 Hall Elem respectively every 45° of rotation, resultin, the generation of the voltages in Hl, H2 which used to produce the force required to rotate rotor. mafia = oo output vatiage) iga———s | He output voltage) 22°30} fas" LPs SECTION 2 DISASSEMBLY 24, REMOVAL ‘Turntable Platter Tonearm ust cover Q irsuteror (ar @ riers pio (6) turntable sheet ewiten lever © rin lever @ revo Ort plet S NS ‘Unsolder five lead wires.
