MATHEMATICAL METHOD

They say "Mathematics is the art of giving the same name to different things."

I would define mathematics as the study of structure divorced from context.

In mathematics, we study various structures: numbers, groups, geometric objects, etc. We

study their patterns and figure out how they work and interconnect. I would make the
argument that anything existing in the universe and anything that can be cooked up by the
human mind that has some sort of structure to it can be studied mathematically.

HEURISTIC METHOD

Sa HEURISTIC METHOD naman or heuristic technique, often called simply a heuristic, is any
approach to problem solving, learning, or discovery that employs a practical method, not
guaranteed to be optimal, perfect, logical, or rational, but instead sufficient for reaching an
immediate goal.

Halimbawa sa journalism, yung malimit gamitin na heuristic method nila is by asking Who?
What? When? Where? Why? Kapag nakuha at natanong na nila yung basic points na
kailangan nila, sila na yung bahala magcompose at maginvestigate para makapagproduce
na sila ng kanilang balita o storya. Ganon din sa construction, hindi naman sya uneducated
guess o tancha lang kasi kailangan padin tingnan yung mga posibleng mangyari at mga
basehan bago magdesisyon at iexecute ang plano. Kalimitan to magamit sa malalaking
kompanya kasi may experience na at mas mabilis dahil may mga data na sila kung gaano katagal
gawin halimbawa ang flooring per sqm at kung magkano ang estimation na tatamaan.

Finding an optimal solution is impossible or impractical, heuristic methods can be used to
