Statistics Assignment

In my perspective, there is no object that makes me think about statistics than chess.
During my junior high school days I was once a varsity in the game, I compete in
different tournaments and played thousands of games. In chess, after four moves there are
about 288 billion possible statistical outcomes of the game. Not only in the game itself do
you find statistics but also on recorded games where statistical data is present and also in
computing your elo-rating when competing in tournaments. In this game, every move
counts, you must analyze the flow of the game and the possible outcomes of your move
and what your opponent will do ten to one hundred steps ahead.
