We would like to inform you that the CPB505-2 board, used in the Compact PSS 5000-505, will be
discontinued on June 30th.

The CPB505 board will be replaced by the newer CPB539 board - which offers an even more
powerful platform to facilitate edge-to-cloud computing, together with improved security features.

The final order date for the PSS 5000 Compact system with CPB505-2 is June 30th, 2021. Order
fulfilment will be dependent on availability. The PSS 5000 Compact with CPB539 board is 100%
compatible with existing systems and will be offered as standard from the 1st July, 2021.

We are also introducing a new PSS application version, Basic Lite. The Basic Lite application offers
a limited feature set and device support at a lower price. For a full comparison of the different

Gilbarco Veeder-Root will continue to support the CPB505 platform with critical software updates
and bug fixes until December 31st, 2025. From June 30th, 2021, new functionality and protocol
implementations will only be offered on the CPB539 platform.
