Cats are the best animals to keep as pets

Cats are the best pets to keep. But why? Some people think cats are ungrateful animals, while
others can't live without these beautiful creatures. I agree with the latter and believe that a cat is
the best pet you can have at home. I will explain the reason why.
First of all, cats are easier to look after. You don't have to walk them multiple times a day and
they are more independent than dogs. Most of the day felines choose to sleep. But this does not
prevent them from forming a strong bond with their owner in their awake time. Secondly, some
cat breeds are very affectionate and sociable. The owner of such animal will never be bored. He
can both cuddle it and play with it, and the pet will be very happy. Sometimes cats can be very
frustrated if their human has been away for a long time though. Thirdly, as many people know,
cats are very intelligent animals and can sense magnetic fields. Therefore, these animals can
understand when their owners are unwell. Moreover, they will not just leave it at that. Cats will
lie down on their owner's sore spot to relieve pain.
On the other hand, there are people who think cats are too arrogant. These people say that cats
are horrible and don't care enough to be taught anything. I can dispute this opinion. If you start
taking good care of a kitten from a very early age, you won't have any problems with its
behavior. Cats are easily trained to use the litter box and can learn commands with a bit of effort.
All in all, I think that cats are great pets and will be loved by everyone in the family. And despite
the arguments of various skeptics I am convinced that a cat has more positive qualities than any
other pet.
