EW DELHI: Prime Minster Narendra Modi continued his criticism of Bengal's Trinamool
government in his speech at an election rally in Bankura on Sunday.
Referring to an objectionable graffiti that he had seen, Modi said "Didi's people are making graffiti on the streets of Bengal wherein she is hitting my head with her foot and playing football. Didi, why are you insulting Bengal's culture and traditions?" In the same breath, he added that Mamata Banerjee will not be allowed to kick around the dreams and aspirations of the state's people. He chastised the Mamata Banerjee regime, accusing it of blocking central welfare schemes in the state and indulging in scams with funds for various schemes.
