Abortion is the activity which is made to terminate the pregnancy
before 20 weeks which cause the death of fetus. It is currently done
by people, especially among young women. They have a variety of
reasons for doing this like health, protection and others. However,
some people see abortion as a criminal act. The discourse about
abortion is never ended. Even the government has issued
Government Regulation (PP) No. 61 on the case reproductive health.
This a new regulation will legalize abortion. Based on legalize abortion
this means women should be given the right for abortion.
Women which choose abortion is the women who experience of rape
or sex crime because the women do not want this pregnancy. If the
women are not given an abortion it will make raises the case about
child neglect or murder of baby. So, abortion will make the women
safe and this baby safe too.
Aside from that, legalize of abortion will help the women from harm of
illegal abortion because illegal abortion that do by non-medical
personal. It will make they not safe. It can even cause serious illness
like cancer, cyst and even death. By legalizing abortion the women
will do of abortion in the legal clinic. The legal clinic will protect women
and become first prevent for health of the women from serious illness.
There are, however, some potential risks of legalize the abortion
would be misused for those who love free sex. They are no longer
afraid do free sex because they will feel safe, if pregnancy is
occurred. It is what public are afraid of now. As of result the
legalization of abortion is going to demoralize the nation values
because of free sex.
Therefore, as long as people can manage it well and not misused by
irresponsible people, I think there is no problem if the women should
be given for abortion.
