James Tate Wilson (born September 16.1989) is an American singer-songwriter.

His music has

been described as “westcoast cowboy”, a blend of classic cowboy songs and modern
production, with a hint of the 1960s.

James was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but his parents soon moved to Tucson, Arizona, and a few
years later, Boulder, Colorado. It was during his years growing up in the desert and the
mountains that had the biggest influence on his music. Here is where he heard folk and cowboy
music for the first time.

James began his entertainment career acting in musicals starting when he was eight years old,
including the lead role of Oliver in Oliver Twist, put on by The Boulder Dairy Center of the Arts.
After highschool he moved to Los Angeles, where he pursued music as well as acting. He was
an actor and a model for Apple’s campaign of the iPhone 6, along with acting in a few small
budget movies, before deciding to focus entirely on music.

He was the guitar and lead singer for a number of Los Angeles bands before venturing out on a
solo career.
