and interesting. And in general, evoke certain sound associations with the actions of the heroes.

The role of the epithet is to emotionally enhance the colouring of the universe in a given
context, where there are many different creatures. And to create an atmosphere of their
differences.

The role of metaphor here is not only to create expressiveness, but also, in a certain sense, to
create irony in the aspect of a vision of humans and their actions.

Simile is used to draw parallels and attribute the qualities of other creatures of the universe and
humans.

additionally gives rhythm.

purpose.

The purpose of rhetorical question here is mainly to emphasize the known answer, that the
protagonists doesn’t need to answer it, to stir some humorous emotions.

Repetition in this text is used to lay emphasis and additionally colour the description of the
universe, being the main space in the text.

The basic idea of the text is that we cannot understand everything and that our assumptions
cannot be applied to everyone. Aliens, for example, think that living meat is not logically
possible, and when they speculate on them, they try to rationalize humans using their own
beliefs. This is a parallel to how people have always ignored what they do not understand, and
often become afraid of it or run away from it (as the aliens did) simply because they cannot
explain it. The point here is that while there may be an explanation for everything, do not think
that something is wrong just because you cannot find that explanation.

For me personally, at first the text turned out to be incomprehensible and very strange, however,
after reading it several times, I was able to really draw a parallel between aliens and human
behavior. I would add that the author may have wanted to show us that we do not need to be
prejudiced towards something new or different from us. It is important to correctly analyze the
situation and be ready for things that are unlike us.
