the difference we can find is very clear, the present continuous indicates actions that

happen while you are speaking, the present simple indicates habitual or permanent actions.
as we can see in the video in the present simple we use the words: always, usually,
sometimes of routines or activities that we do in the day.
and the present continuous we use it to talk about activities that are happening in the
present moment, in this very moment as for example: currently, now.
we can also differentiate the way in which verbs are conjugated, the same subjects are used,
but the verb is added to the ing, such as
present simple:
you eat
they eat
we eat
present continuous:
I am eating
you are eating
they are eating
we are eating
for the negative form we also find some differences
present simple:
we use the do or the does , and in a negative way it would be don't - doesn't with the same
verb
present continuous:
we use the verb to be , plus the negation that would be
am not- isn't
we also use the present to say something true or false in general and the present continuous
to talk about changes or trends
