I. BACKGROUND:
Pangasinan, the 3'd largest province in the Philippine Archipelago, belongs to P.evenue
Region No. 1-Calasiaotogetherwiih llocos Norte, llocos Surand La Union. lt is composed
of four (4) cities (Dagupan City, San Carlos City, Urdaneta City and Aiaminos City), forty-four
(44) municipalities, and six (6) legislative districts.

Currently, the province has three (3) Revenue District Offices, namely:

RDO i'lo. 4 - Caiasiao, riVest Pangasinan

RDO No. 5 - Aiaminos City, West Pangasinan

RDO No. 6 - Urdaneta City, East Pangasinan

It can be noted that two (2) of the above RDOs cari'y the same name "West Pangaslnan"
to describe and delineate their geographical jurisdiction. However, a closer look at the map of
Pangasinan reveals that RDO No. 4 - Calasiao, West Pangasinan and the localities under its
jut'isdiction are !ocated in the middle or central port!on of the province, thus, girring credence
tc the proposal that RDO No. 4 - Calasiao be renamed as Centi'al Pangasinan.

II. OBJECTIVE:
This Order is issued to inform all concerned of the renaming of Revenue District Office
(RDO) No. 4 - Calasiao, West Pangasinan to "Calasiao, Central Pangasinan".

II!. REPEALING GLAUSE:

This Order repeals and/or amends pertinent provisions of RAO No. 1-2017 dated April 26,
2417 and all other revenue issuances or portions thereof inconsistent herewith.
