Maybe the man could have been lost, maybe John lost consciousness and is wandering
around unconsciously, or maybe he was kidnapped to get information about his money, or
he just disappeared

John disappeared but later his canoe was found broken on the beach
 Do you think the Darwins had enough money for a good life?
Yes, I think they had the money and property that they could give them to have a good
family life
3) Why were her sons concerned about her?
based on the previous reading John's wife never seemed to have gotten over the loss of
her husband and that worried her sons because she no longer slept or ate well
4) Do you think this story will have a happy ending?
Of course, yes, if the family could finally be reunited with their loved ones, especially that
Mrs. Ana never lost hope of seeing him again
5) How do these facts change your view of the story so far?
Wow, at this point everything can change, I would not know how to judge if the wife
herself had something to do with John's disappearance and to have pretended all the time
for her to obtain the money from her husband

 What famous cases of insurance fraud, or fraud in general, have you heard a out? Is
not paying a parking fee fraud? What about travelling BY train without a ticket? Or not
telling a shop assistand or waiter who undercharges you? Should people be punished
for such acts?
I think that each of the cases mentioned above in some way is fraud because it is cheating
and evading something which it must pay, it is acting unfairly
