Dear Parents and Guardians,

Hi, my name is Chi Harris and I am very excited to be a student teacher for your kindergarten
children for the next 3 months! Given that I will be in the virtual classroom with your child and
shadowing Ms. G. We will have a lot of fun learning in kindergarten. I would like to provide
some background information about myself. I have experience working with children from 1st
to 5th grades at elementary schools where I work as a substitute teacher for both long terms
and short terms. I have a Master’s degree in education and I will graduate from Drexel
University in 2021 with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

I have always wanted to be a teacher and am thrilled to be working with your children. I know
that this will be a time full of learning, not only for the students, but for me as well! I am so
excited that I can spend the next few months with your children. I am looking forward to
helping children learn.
