Why Lots of People Prefer To Use Digital Platforms ?

In this essay, I will talk about "Why People Nowadays Prefer to Choose Digital
Platforms Over TV Shows, based on the title." As you might be known, digital channels are
incredibly popular these days, and they have already begun to replace television. So, how
did this happen to be? Why were digital channels preferred by people over television? Well,
there are some explanations why it could happen here.
Digital networks, first of all, are more realistic. Technically, you could use it to find
whatever you want, anywhere and at any time. Unlike television, where shows and
programs are subject to a schedule and we are unable to watch them whenever we want.
Second, there's the content. Compared to television, digital channels have more
content diversity. This is because television has laws and policies of its own. As a
consequence, not every show or program will be shown on television, and even if it does, it
will be unlikely to be broadcast again. This is why people are more likely to use digital
channels because they can freely access whatever they want.
Third, the flexibility we can get on digital platforms, where we can do what we want
on the internet and become what we want. For instance, Youtube, we could upload
whatever we want on Youtube and become whatever we want (Well, as long as it's still fine
on the normal side, I think you could become whatever you want) and it also helps us to find
some good stuff to watch because, because of this, we couldn't find it anywhere on TV.
So far, based on what I see, these are the reasons I have discovered why people are
starting to choose digital channels over TV. Despite this, I assume that television can still be
fun for some of us. Like maybe we like to watch some interesting show or some drama we
like or something (I didn't personally like any of the drama Indonesian TV made because of
how pointless and cringe the drama is). Well, I never said that TV is bad in the first place, but
it clearly shows that the digital medium is more fun to use and more exciting to watch than
television, based on the reasons I find it.
