Analyse the ethical issues arising out of the preparation of GP’s dossier by RK.
What should GP do next?
The ethical issue in this case is that RK prepares GP’s dossier with the data available
in the different social media handle of GP without his consent.
Here, we can apply tests such as rights test, choice test and justice test in this case.

Rights Test
In this case, RK violates the right to privacy of GP by utilizing the personal and
professional data to make GP’s dossier. He should take permission from him for
utilizing the data. Personal data may contain some sensitive information and GP
might not want to share with all the person who are not friend with him in the social
media handles.
Choice Test
In this case ,GP has no choice to defend his personality or no option to showcase his
talent. Since RK has already judge the GP according to his Social Media activities in
different platform. And at the RK is not taking his CV. So, GP has no choice other than
to accept the RK decision.
Justice Test
RK has not done fair with GP. Since in any nation every has Rights to Privacy.So, RK
should not use his data without his consent. It is against the Rights and it is an
injustice to GP.
The possible situations for GP that he can act are:

GP can ignore the activity of RK and can join the company since he is getting more
benefit by joining the company.

GP can directly talk to RK about this and tell him that he didn’t like this way of
collecting data about his future employees.

After joining to company GP can report this activity to his higher authority that how
RK made the dossier from his social media data without taking consent.

In my opinion, he should directly talk to RK as he is the concerned person and it

would be effective to solve it by talking to the one to whom it concerns.
