Dear Professor and colleagues,

Youth”, which will take place on December 8, 2017, Faculty of International
Relations Political and Administrative Sciences, the Moldova State University, in
Chișină. The event will hold in the office 314, at 9.30 o’clock.

The conference will bring together experts and speakers from The Republic of
Moldova that are the students at Faculty of International Relations Political and
Administrative Sciences and national representatives from civil society, public
authorities to explore and discuss opportunities and strengths related to the
involvement of youth in international relations and elements of diplomacy .

 WELCOME SPEECH

Dear Professors, distinguished guests, dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

It is a true pleasure for me to welcome you to the first Conference on ”Democracy,

Dioplomacy and Youth”, this time at the Moldova State University, Faculty of
International Relations Political and Administrative Sciences .

I am very grateful to you, Professors, for your intention to guid us in this

important conference. It is also an honour for us to welcome representatives as
well as experts from the Minister of the Foreign Affairs and Europe Integration,
ONU and United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) to the conference
today. During the
conference will be approach subjects as : The involvement of youth and elements
of diplomacy.

I wish you a most beautiful day with interesting and stimulating discussions and
exchange of knowledge.

On December 8, 2017, Faculty of International Relations, the students organized

their firt conference on „Democracy, Diplomacy and Youth”.
We had 2 panels of discussions : "The involvment of Youth" and "Elements of
Diplomacy". At the conference were prezent 3 key-note speakers : the Minister of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Director of Unite Nations
Organization and co-director of United nation Development Programme.

The meeting started at 9:30 A.M. at the Molova State University. The conference
was chair by a student of International Relations.

The first panel was about the involvment of youth. The speakers from the first
panel spoke about youth organisations on example of Peace Corp : aim, activity,
projects, impact. Was approach the topic like Amnesty International by political
analyst. In adition to that, we had subjects on : human rights and influence of
mass-media on youth.

The second panel was about the elements of diplomacy . The expert in Political
Cartoons explained the importance and distinguish of cartoons in politic. On the
other hand, another speaker justified the distinction of international projects for
society, in special for youth. Hence, the members of UNDP spoke about the global
problems that affect foreign affairs : environment and poverty.

Then, we had and a Question and Answers session where participants should
address their questions to our key-note guests, experts or speakers.

Questions were about international projects and organization of youth in the

Republic of Moldova, about the chances of our contry in europn integration and
about solvments of our national problems through the international organisations.

At the conference were present our english professors that guided us in the process
of hosting this meeting.

In my opinion it was our first, but not the last approved experience. We achieved
new knowledges and saw our mistakes of speaking and way of showing
information.
In conclusion, organising this kind of events will handle us in our future career and
guid put in practice information that we obtain because we develop ourselves
skills in different activities : writing an invitation, complet an agenda, make a press
release, prepare an interesting speech, work with audience, chair a meeting, others.
