Higher Education Benefits from
Federal Stimulus
Colleges and universities across the Capital Region will be receiving
millions of dollars in new federal stimulus aid to bolster pandemic
recovery efforts. Half of each college's allotment must be used in di-
rect grants to students, but the colleges can also use the federal aid
to cover testing and protective equipment costs, offset lost revenue
and invest in classroom technology.
These estimated stimulus allotments were provided by Senate
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer'’s office.
