The fearless knight

No sooner had the first sunlight appeared in Andrew`s room and touched his eyes than
Andrew woke up happy and cheerful.
He washed his face and brushed his teeth and he put on his knight armour, hoping that
today he will do great things.

After eating his breakfast prepared by his mommy, he ran outside to explore the
surroundings of the house with his friend, Zoro, a very brave dog.
-Andrew, please, take care, dont`t go too far from home, his mother called out of the
doorway.
-Yes, mom. I won`t! Andrew replied.
Zoro said too: „Woof, woof!”

Getting near the forest, Andrew and Zoro stopped running and they started to go carefully
and to pay attention to everything around them, just to meet the dragon from the forest.
At some point, Zoro stopped and started to sniff a trace.
-What`s there, Zoro? Andrew asked almost whispering.
The bush in front of them started to move. Andrew touched his cardboard sword and
froze.
Zoro started to bark and jumped in the bush.
Andrew was impatient.
-That`s really the dragon? He was wondering.

Suddenly, a rabbit jumped out of the bush and ran frightened.

Andrew was very scared too and fell .
-Oh, how scared I was! He said and started to laugh. Zoro, come on, boy! It was just a
little rabbit. Come on, Zoro, let`s rest a little bit here. They both sit near a tree trunck.

Andrew closed his eyes and suddenly he woke up dressed in a real armour, wearing at the
hip a steel sword.
-Zoro, where are you? Come on, boy!
Andrew got out of the forest and Zoro appeared. He had wings and blew smoke through
his nose. Zoro became a dragon.
-Get on my back, my master!
Andrew got on Zoro`s back and the dragon flew around the land.
-Zoro, go down around the river! I see something there.

When they got almost there, what Andrew saw dissapeared.

-Stay here! He said to Zoro.
 Andrew got off the dragon, he took out the sword and started to search the place.

Suddenly, he heard a scream like a wild animal. Andrew wasn`t scared and he advanced
in the forest near the river. He saw a trace and followed it.
-It seems to be a dragon tail, Andrew thought.

He suddenly was in front of a fierce dragon, that was lying on the ground. The dragon
shouted and blew fire through his nose when he saw the knight with his sword, but the dragon
was still lying and didn`t get up.

-Why doesn`t the dragon get up to defend himself? Andrew asked.

Andrew realised something was wrong, so he slipped the sword into the sheath and
carefully got close to him. The dragon had a thorn in his wing.
-Don`t worry, I won`t harm you, Andrew tried to calm down the injured and scared
dragon.

Andrew didn`t think too much. He undressed his shirt and broke it into strips. Andrew
went to the river to wet the strip and returned to take care of the dragon. The dragon saw that the
young knight is not a danger for him, but he wanted to help him and he left down the injured
wing and he closed his eyes.
Andrew ripped out the thorn of the wing, cleaned the injury and put a bandage.

Zoro came too and sat near his new friend. It was a dragon girl which put her head on
Zoro to get rest.
The knight Andrew was getting away and heard a slow whistle. When he turned his head,
he saw the dragon girl waving her wing thanking him that he saved her.

Suddenly, Andrew wake up when an acorn fell on his head. He got up quickly and called
Zoro.
-Zoro, where are you?
Zoro came quickly with his tongue out and jumped in Andrew`s arms.
-Zoro, if you would know what dream I had!...
