In this activity we are given a description of the types of transportation of goods

that exist, and as exporters we will always have to interact with them and that
the way to choose the means of transporting them, also taking into account the
nature of our goods.

It is also necessary to take into account the economic resources that the
company has: In general, ground transportation is cheaper and more flexible,
of course, it has greater geographical restrictions and may be affected by the
state of the roads and their traffic.

Therefore air travel is faster and allows greater coverage, but it is more
expensive and subject to considerable cargo restrictions.

Meanwhile, maritime transport allows us to mobilize a greater variety of

products to transport and has a more comfortable cost than air, thus becoming
the most widely used cargo transport in the world.

As we can see, there are many transfer options for companies. it is only
necessary to consider the needs, resources and objectives of the company in
choosing the most suitable Alternatives.

In general, road transport is cheap, comfortable and flexible, but the

disadvantage that is currently weighing it down is that it is not ecological, and
can be subject to weight, dimensions of the load and occasionally to long
delays due to traffic or bad been on the roads.
