Art education in need of revival

Creativity is no longer considered a skill memorizing is considered because it directly correlates to

importance and intellect.

Society glorifies doctors and engineers and demotes the value of a student possessing a gift for
writing, music or art

Art is considered as a secondary subject or as an extra-curricular activity

No proper assessment system at school level

Creativity should not be undervalued. It should be admired.

Creativity is suppressed at a very early level in education

That how in primary classes, creativity is curbed in art and craft by drawing and replicating the
objects

 Societal pressure-other domains medical, engineering are considered more intellectual and
prestigious.

 As a result fewer artists in society as well as in educational institutions

 Free lancing as an emerging platform for young talent
