• Full mock-up: material ordered for 1 cab,

• Fit & finish: post-approval, all materials for
all cabs are ordered. Minor changes only.
No major modifications or material swaps
without incurring additional cost.

• ANSI (Z97.1) – all glass must be
safety laminated
• ANZI marking must be on each
separate piece of glass, and must
remain visible after installation.

2.14.2.1.1 Materials in their end use


configuration, other than those covered by
2.14.2.1.2 through 2.14.2.1.6 shall conform to
the following requirements, based on the tests
conducted in accordance with the requirements
of ASTM E 84, UL 723, NFPA 252 or CAN/ULC-
S102.2, whichever is applicable:
(a) flame spread rating of 0 to 75
and
(b) smoke development of 0 to 450.

2.14.2.3.1 Natural ventilation openings
conforming to the following shall be provided
in car enclosures:
(a) Openings exposed to the inside of the car
shall not be located in the portion of the
enclosure walls extending from a point 300
mm (12 in.) above the floor to a point 1825
mm (72 in.) above the floor.
(e) ...The total area of natural ventilation
openings shall be not less than 3.5% of the
inside car floor area divided equally
between the bottom and top of the car
enclosures.

(f) The total unrestricted opening in or around
the car doors or gates shall be permitted to
be included as part of the car enclosure.
(g) The unrestricted opening provided by
forced ventilation systems shall be
permitted to be part of the natural
ventilation area on the part of the car in
which it is located.

2.14.2.3.2 Ventilating fans or blowers, if used,


shall be located above the car ceiling or outside
the enclosure and shall be securely fastened in
place.

• Drawings: 2-3 weeks or less
• Manufacturing: 10-12 weeks (after approval)
• Manufacturing lead time can be longer based on certain
material vendor’s lead times

• For example, metal mesh can take up to 14 weeks

• Customer notified if finish selection causes a delay

All lead times are estimated and not guaranteed
