CADENCE BAILEY ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Calliope ⋆ Jade Thirlwall ⋆ CLOSED

[SELF-ASSURED] – Cadence knows what kind of life she wants, what kind of people she wants to associate with,
how much trash talk she can tolerate (which is absolutely none), and what she knows and doesn’t know. She is
confident in herself and isn’t afraid to speak up for herself or for others when she feels someone is being mistreated
or misjudged.
[OPEN] – If one of the boys at school has caught her attention, Cadence will make no attempt to hide it. Her binder
is covered not only with reverent pictures of George Washington, Susan B. Anthony, Beyoncé, and Bruce Wayne,
but from time to time a face from Mount Olympus High may even show up as well. Even if her attention towards
heroic people is usually in an admiring rather than romantic sense, people can’t help but be awed by her bravery, or
squeamish at her openness. Likewise, she doesn’t keep secrets that she feels the world has to know - if her best
friend just saved a life, the whole world ought to know just how the deed went down and how wonderful her friend
is.
[OBSESSIVE] – Once Cadence finds someone to gush about, she has a tendency to overlook their flaws until
there are pages upon pages of articles detailing their scandals and why they shouldn’t be loved - and even then, it’s
hard to turn her away from loving them. She has posters of her favorite artists and actors plastered all over her
walls, stacks of celebrity magazines cluttering her desk, and a calendar of when and where her favorite celebrities
will be doing fan signs, so that she can try to attend and meet them in person (or at least fantasize about doing so).
She’s also often found crying melodramatically: when asked why, more often than not, it’s because of a fictional
character’s death in a book or movie.
UNIQUE BAILEY ⋆ 15 ⋆ Freshman ⋆ Urania ⋆ Ariana Grande ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: sun signs, science fiction, celestial objects, constellations
- Dislikes: blood, being ignored, when shooting stars are actually just airplanes, screamo music
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting
stars?
Unique could never remember how or when she ended up at an orphanage; what she only knew, and anybody else
remembered, was that she arrived with a constellation photo book and a golden compass. She was one of the
youngest at the orphanage; as a result, she was considered the baby, and was treated as such. Her needs and her
happiness were everyone’s priority, and she was never without a playmate. She was a great bundle of fun, often
smiling brightly and bringing temporary joy to others. She never tired of looking through her constellation photo
book, wondering if there truly was a place for her in this vast universe of stars, planets, and moons.
When the infertile Bailey couple asked if they could take her in, Unique squealed with delight and jumped in place
for a whole five minutes before immediately agreeing. Unique was still one of the youngest in her new family, but
she didn’t mind that at all, since she’d gotten so used to being pampered and loved. On the birthday after her
adoption, her parents took her to one of the most magical places she’d ever dreamed of: the planetarium. It was
there that she realized her first trace of fascination with all things otherworldly, including planets, constellations,
and meteorites. Her parents then gifted her with a telescope so that she could find the wonders of outer space on
her own, and not a week went by when Unique didn’t spend a full hour gazing at the stars. In school, she was often
a teacher’s pet because of her sweetness and civility, and she grew up believing in the pure humanity and charity of
humankind and how wonderful people were.
Unique is quite excited and nervous for her first year at Mount Olympus High, but she’s almost certain she can make
it through because of her extensive knowledge about the star signs and of the destinies they tell in their
horoscopes. Some say high school will be an unexpected experience for her, but she feels the stars are aligned in
her favor, and she can get anyone to help her if she has to.
Often acts:
[CONSCIENTIOUS] – Unique is very detail-oriented, when taking notes on the stars, when organizing her
belongings, even when simply observing others. She completes her tasks thoroughly, making sure she doesn’t miss
a spot, because it satisfies her to see works in their entirety. She’s also well-versed in her knowledge of the stars
and constellations: not only can she easily pick out and describe any set of stars in the night sky, but she can also tell
a person’s supposed likes, dislikes, virtues, flaws, and how compatible they are with one another (though, how
much of her predictions are actually true, she’s never bothered to find out).
[INQUISITIVE] – Always the first to ask the question, “Why?” Unique’s mind is bursting with questions about
whatever she hears. It’s not that she means to doubt the truth, but more that she likes to learn more about
whatever is happening and find out everything about anything that’s going on. She likes to ask about people’s
affairs or ponder questions about life that she feels are worth pondering (“Why can’t humans be born with four
arms and two heads and a pair of wings?”).
[PLAYFUL] – Unique is used to being loved all her life, and it’s not a stretch to say she tries her best to keep it that
way. She likes to act cute and young, never wanting to grow up or have to face the “real world,” and does things
such as poking people’s noses and then giggling. Her childlike innocence can only go for so long though; her
cuteness can only get her so far before she has to use her other assets to get what she needs.
PALOMA BAILEY ⋆ 15 ⋆ Freshman ⋆ Polyhymnia ⋆ Isabelle Fuhrman ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: the Sistine Chapel, clovers, blue nail polish, good feng shui, veggie smoothies
- Dislikes: cats, broken mirrors, talking on the phone, false assumptions, being forced to talk
You can see there if you catch her eye, I know she’s brave but it’s
trapped inside, scared to talk but she don’t know why.
Paloma could never remember how or when she ended up at an orphanage; what she only knew, and anybody else
remembered, was that she arrived with a folded adult-sized cloak. Paloma was one of the quietest children in the
orphanage, speaking only when spoken to and only if she thought she had something worth contributing to the
conversation. She spent much of her time by herself solving Math and English worksheets given to her by her school
and her caretakers. Practicing these over and over sharpened her wit and intellect, but she still didn’t talk much
because she was always so lost in her own thoughts. She always offered to help others on their projects and
activities to use up some more brainpower, and it was always much appreciated despite her not being as talkative
as some of the other children.
When the infertile Bailey couple asked if they could take her in, Paloma was so stunned that for almost the first time
in her life, she couldn’t think straight. Now that she was free from the orphanage, she had more opportunities to
see the world around her and appreciate their glory. The first place she visited was a university library, so that she
could check out the latest developments in the world. She enjoyed discovering new things to ponder about, and her
favorite places were the ones where she could sit and meditate for a while, focusing her mind on anything and
everything. Paloma also especially liked visiting churches and temples; the idea of religion fascinated her, and even
though she herself wasn’t involved in any religion, she often wonders what it is about religion and deities that move
people to do things. In school, teachers and classmates alike found her to be an exceptional student, not just
because she read a lot, but also because she always thought her actions through, writing some of the best papers
and coming up with some of the best projects.
Paloma’s mind is swimming with thoughts and worries when it comes to high school, specifically Mount Olympus
High. She still plans to be involved and hit some more books, but that’s just because she doesn’t quite know what
else there is to do at school. Perhaps she needs someone to help her slow down in her thought process and just go
with the flow.
Often acts:
[SUPERSTITIOUS] – Paloma has a very logical mindset when it comes to academic subjects and debating
arguments about philosophy and religion, but outside of that, she’s also a huge believer of traditional superstitions.
She fully believes that walking under ladders, breaking mirrors, and Friday the 13th will all bring terrible luck, and,
likewise, good luck will almost definitely come to those who throw salt over their shoulders, find four-leaf clovers,
and step on shadows. Her room is organized so she can capture the best feng shui possible, and she believes it’s one
of the reasons why she’s been doing so well in school.
[PENSIVE] – Paloma spends a lot of time thinking: about school, friends, family, grades, her future, how ghosts are
actually real, the issues of the world, and more. She’s often seen looking out a window or staring into empty space,
lost in thought, until someone snaps - sometimes, literally snaps - her out of them and back into this reality. In fact,
it’s not rare for her to walk into poles or doors because she’s often so lost in thought that she doesn’t pay attention
to where she’s going.
[WARY] – With a tendency to doubt until shown reasons otherwise, Paloma isn’t one to jump headfirst into
anything. She thinks things through and turns them over in her mind three times before going through with them,
and when faced with something unfamiliar, Paloma approaches with caution. She also had a thing for wearing
cloaks, as she felt it was a perfect barrier between her and the world - she could unshield herself whenever she felt
the situation was safe.
EDEN BAILEY ⋆ 17 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Erato ⋆ Perrie Edwards ⋆ CLOSED
When the infertile Bailey couple asked if they could take her in, Eden was overjoyed. She’d spent so much time
watching romantic movies that she thought herself to be rather charming, being able to spout out lines like “You
had me at hello,” “Love means never having to say you’re sorry,” and “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy,
asking him to love her.” The Baileys were indeed quite mesmerized by Eden and promised to take good care of her
and buy her all the romance novels and movies she could ever want. Eden was sucked into the world of love,
romance, and breakups, and soon they were all she thought and wrote about. Her passion for writing fanfiction
never diminished, and she believed real life should be just as picturesque as movies were: happy endings were an
absolute must, every girl had their own Prince Charming waiting for them at the end of the rainbow, and if
romance-y things didn’t work out, it was just the guy’s fault, never the girl’s. Her best friends were her two turtle
doves, who were well disciplined and were allowed to fly freely anywhere they wanted, because they always found
their way back to her at the end of the day, just as she envisioned her ideal man to be.
High school was much more exciting than anything else Eden could’ve imagined. Everyone was so incredibly
attractive, and there was so much sexual tension in the air! During her freshman year, she submitted a piece of
fanfiction about the blooming romance between a janitor and one of her teachers to the newspaper, and it was the
talk of the school for a whole month afterward. It was a great start to Eden’s high school life; she’s quite a social
butterfly, darting around the student body, looking for the latest news of love in the air.
Often acts:
[IDEALISTIC] – Eden feels like she’s seen almost all of the romance movies and novels in existence, and she
expects real life to be just as flowery and pretty as those. Boys must be princes, girls must be princesses, and
everyone would find their soulmate some way down the road. She wants nothing less than a perfect romance for
herself, complete with a bouquet of roses and a convertible car that will drive her and her mate off into the sunset.
She’s quite the perfectionist, and often refuses to bring her head down from the clouds.
[POMPOUS] – Eden likes to give advice and tips on love, such as how to flirt, how to kiss, how to have a first date,
etc. She prides herself on her knowledge of “romance,” but in reality, the only “romance” she’s really known are
from books and movies, and not from real life experience. She likes to gush over lovely things, ideas, and people
and plan out what the future may hold in store for them. She has high self-esteem and only wants what she thinks is
the best for other people, but there are times when her dignified attitude becomes a little too much.
[OBSERVANT] – Eden likes to watch people go about their daily activities; there’s just something warm and
fascinating about them that she can’t quite explain. She takes notes about some of the little things they do -
sometimes mentally, sometimes on paper - either for her own satisfaction, or so that she can weave it into one of
her future fanfictions. She’s also quick to notice if someone’s bothered, fuming inside, or secretly in love - not to
mention if anyone’s tainted her pretty notebooks.
MACKENZIE BAILEY ⋆ 16 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Melpomene ⋆ Lily Collins ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: boots, murder mysteries, death statistics, Edgar Allan Poe, poison ivy
- Dislikes: cheesy endings, strict routines, chick flicks, Ellen Degeneres
Don’t you want to feel? Don’t you want to live your life? How much
longer are you gonna give in to the fear? Holding you down until
you’re all alone, all alone and drowning in your past, take it back,
take it back, I still believe you can.
Mackenzie could never remember how or when she ended up at an orphanage; what she only knew, and anybody
else remembered, was that she arrived with a knife and an ivy wreath. Though all the kids at the orphanage tried
their best to play with her and make her feel less alone, there was just some sort of gloomy aura around her that
made them think twice, and people often took her serious face to mean, “Stay away from me.” She hardly smiled,
or expressed any form of emotion, and when she did speak, she was cynical and deadpan, which didn’t quite come
across as inviting to the other children and caretakers, and so they left her alone.
When the infertile Bailey couple asked if they could take her in, Mackenzie, as well as mk most others, was taken
aback. What would they want with her, a child who hardly spoke and hardly smiled, who instead constantly looked
and spoke like her dog had just died? But the Baileys promised to give her a new, better life, and although
Mackenzie doubted them at first, she agreed to move in with them and let them try to open her up. Gradually, over
many years of unconditional love and support from her new family, she learned to smile and laugh again, even if
only slightly, and to place a little trust in others. She had a habit of carrying her knife around with her - perhaps it
was a family heirloom, people speculated - to let herself feel more secure when she was going to face the world or
unfamiliar people. She had a fascination for the horrific and macabre that no one could quite understand, preferring
dark brutal endings to happy cheerful ones; death, whether in literature or in reality, was a subject constantly
weighing on her mind. Her parents didn’t mind it, though, because they believed a child should be able to explore
her own interests.
Mackenzie wasn’t one of those girls who was surrounded by friends - or even people, in general - in high school, but
she initially wasn’t too bothered by that - perhaps she just wasn’t a people person anyway. Though she preferred to
be alone with her dark thoughts rather than bask in the sunshine of everyone else’s abundant energy, she’s recently
started wishing she could open up and talk to more people, for a gloomy life is a lonely life. She’s often found
observing people from the sidelines, with a book in hand, waiting for someone to strike up conversation with her, as
she’s still too shy to talk to someone herself, for fear of rejection.
Often acts:
[COMPOSED] – Mackenzie isn’t exactly known for being the most expressive person of all. Whether she’s facing a
time of crisis or a time of happiness, people can hardly tell because she keeps the same stoic face on all the time.
She may laugh or smile on occasion, but a true, belly-shaking laugh from her is just a mythical concept. Mackenzie
herself is aware that nobody’s heard her real laugh, and she’s secretly proud of it, as she personally believes that
showing too much emotion makes her weak.
[PESSIMISTIC] – The “generosity of humankind” isn’t a concept Mackenzie really believes in. Rather, she believes
that people are selfish and do things that are only in their own best interests. Whenever someone is nice to her or
does a good deed, she’s wary of whatever motives they may be concealing, and oftentimes will try to call them out
on those “motives.” The idea that people could be nice just to be nice is lost on her, and that isn’t helped along by
the fact that she only enjoys reading about tragedies and crimes. Surprisingly, she’s also one of those who only acts
in her own self-interests, always considering whether investing time or effort in something is worthwhile before
actually doing it.
[INDEPENDENT] – Mackenzie is a person with quiet pride, and the idea of having to depend on people for any
reason at all isn’t one she welcomes. She will struggle through a problem by herself, carry her own heavy burdens,
and walk through the hallways alone rather than have to wait for a friend to catch up. She operates on her own
schedule, partly because she isn’t quite comfortable being around people yet, and partly because she believes she’s
better off surviving on her own.
ISAAC RYU ⋆ 15 ⋆ Sophomore ⋆ Icarus ⋆ Andre Kim ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: eagles and hawks, flying, doing crazy stunts, cake, hats
- Dislikes: realism, doing detention, staying still, people taking pity on him
I’ll take the good news first. Prepare me for the worst, we’ve all got
something to prove.
Although Isaac was born into a family who had to scrimp and pinch to make ends meet, his attitude was not as low
as his family’s income. Indeed, as a young child he did his best to be happy with whatever they could afford, in food,
clothes, or toys. His playfulness often made his parents laugh and feel more at ease, and he reassured them that
money was not a big deal in their happiness.
When Isaac started going to school, he noticed that people started treating him differently when he wore clothes
that marked him as “poor.” He didn’t like being judged based on his family’s wealth, so to blend in with the “regular
kids” he saved up to buy “regular clothes” more similar to the casual stuff his friends wore. To feel more at ease
with his friends, he became “the funny guy,” cracking jokes about anything to make them laugh. He also had a knack
for pulling crazy stunts, such as streaking around school on the last day of 6th grade (which his brother was
humiliated to find - but Isaac laughed it off); it was an outlet of fun that he didn’t have at home. Besides having fun
and making the best out of his situations, Isaac likes to shoot for the stars, coming up with all sorts fantastic ideas
for what he’s going to do when he grows up, like swim to the bottom of the ocean or fly to the sun.
Isaac’s love for fun and living life didn’t change when he moved into high school - he was actually rather excited
about the new freedoms and opportunities. Though his family’s financial situation restricts him from some activities
like school field trips, Isaac likes to dream big and keep his avenues open, because one day he’s going to be famous
and help his family become rich.
Often acts:
[FANTASTICAL] – Isaac loves fantasy, and one day he hopes to live as part of one. He dreams of having multiple
successful careers, many of which involve flying with the clouds or even higher. While his classmates dream of
becoming doctors, lawyers, or teachers, Isaac dreams of piloting helicopters as a hobby, living on the moon for a
year, and creating a city where everyone is required to wear skates. They’re big dreams, he knows, but he promises
that one day, they will happen - whether he’s joking or not, no one knows.
[AUDACIOUS] – Streaking around school in 6th grade is just one of many achievements in his history of
adventures. He fully believes the saying that “life is short,” and wants to make the best of his life before it ends, and
more often than not that involves expanding his boundaries and doing things not many have done before. Of
course, he’s also gotten in trouble more times than he can count, much to the dismay of his brother - but that
doesn’t stop him from having the most fun he can have.
[OPEN] – Life is more fun when everyone’s comfortable with each other, he believes, and so he strives to make life
fun for everybody. His friendly aura relaxes others, and he has been able to trick some people into going along with
him on his wild excursions - even girls he’s trying to ask out on a date.

+ Likes: puzzles, brain teasers, birds, challenges, books, the mystery genre
- Dislikes: laziness, wasting time, fools, crying, cliché stories
These doors won’t open while you stand and watch them
In the eyes of everyone who knew him, and even Dante himself, Dante never had a proper childhood. His father
suffered from chronic aching joints and was not educated enough to keep a job with a decent income, and his
mother’s weak immune system left her too feeble to do much work outside of the home. So, determined to help
carry along his family, Dante took on the role of an adult from an early age. He took on odd jobs like delivering
newspapers, mowing lawns, and babysitting to earn enough money to put food on the table every night and to
generate heat for his parents and younger brother.
His family’s financial situation improved somewhat when their kind neighbors helped his parents secure one shared
job, although the generated income was still relatively low. When Dante was not at school, he was either at home
taking care of his parents or at the library, looking for more job opportunities or sharpening his intellect. He
believed that if he could have a higher education and earn a college degree, he could sustain a job that paid well
enough to support his present family and possibly future family. Though he might have appeared more mature than
others his age, he wasn’t entirely unapproachable: many peers came to him for homework help, parent troubles, or
just to encourage him to live life a little more. He always declined invitations to hang out because he felt the time
could be better spent doing homework or looking into job opportunities.
Dante looked forward to high school because it meant more chances to explore his interests, like riddles and
architecture. Over the past 3 years, he’s been able to come out of his shell a little and accept people’s offers to hang
out and “just chill,” but he still has trouble relaxing. Since his family’s income is still relatively low, he does his best
to stay involved at school and earn recognition for his college resume, but he does need occasional reminding that
as a teenager, he ought to set aside more free time to have fun.
Often acts:
[PRACTICAL] – Growing up with a lack of luxuries meant that Dante was more conservative than most of his
schoolmates. His homemade lunches were small, with just enough for him to feel satiated, and he shops at thrift
stores or Goodwill to save as much money as he can. He’s also been putting his knowledge of puzzles and
architecture to use: he plans on creating a board game or designing a building that will one day earn him fame and
recognition, and hopefully a lot of money, too. Because of the way he was raised, he is careful not to waste
anything that may be valuable in the future, and is quick to find solutions to problems.
[DILIGENT] – Whatever Dante starts, Dante finishes. He does whatever it takes to get a project done, and done
correctly too. Any group project involving him was sure to get a high grade because he ensures that the project is of
the best quality. He commits himself entirely to anything he does, and is determined to excel in accomplishing what
is expected of him.
[PATRONIZING] – Dante likes to tell riddles or brain teasers in an attempt to connect better with other people his
age, which has a tendency to backfire as many think he’s purposely looking down on them. It’s true that years of
diligent studying has given him a slight edge in intellect, but it is that intellect which separates himself from others.
People say he looks down on them because they’re not as smart as he is, and truthfully, Dante can’t deny that that’s
what he thinks. Even when he’s trying his best to be nice and friendly to someone, the other person may find him
condescending and not at all sociable.
SONYA STARLING ⋆ 16 ⋆ Sophomore ⋆ Selene ⋆ Emily Browning ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: silver jewelry, the moon, music boxes, werewolves, lanterns
- Dislikes: elevators, Pluto not being a planet, worms, eagles, bright lights
On we march with a midnight song. We will light our way with our
lanterns on.
Sonya was different from many other babies her parents knew because she had much trouble sleeping in the night.
It wasn’t that she woke up often during the night - rather, she seemed to be at her perkiest after sundown, being a
nocturnal baby. At first, her parents were unsure of how to handle her peculiar circadian rhythm, but they gradually
adapted by taking shifts in keeping an eye over her. They didn’t have much to worry about, though, as Sonya turned
out to be an angel, never making too much noise nor causing too much trouble.
As she grew older, her docile nature became more apparent. In school and at home, she rarely spoke a word out of
turn. One of her parents being a security guard, Sonya developed a guardian instinct as well, and had a tendency to
gravitate towards others who needed help or who were going through a rough time and needed consolation or
comfort. Though she still had trouble sleeping at night, she found that her night times were better spent either
staying up late comforting others or just aimlessly gazing at the night sky. A very sincere person, she believes in the
best of people, even when they have betrayed her trust. Her pet rabbit, which she found in the woods in her middle
school years, is her greatest source of comfort, along with the moon’s presence (especially a full moon).
Starting high school was a daunting thought for her, due to the many rumors she’d heard of high school bullies and
the increased amount of homework which would cut into time she could spend stargazing. However, because of her
gentle demeanor, her reputation as the quiet “guardian from the shadows” (as her poetic friend so eloquently put
it) became widespread throughout the school. She got through her first year without much trouble, and is excited
to start her second year at such a wonderful school.
Often acts:
[SOOTHING] – Although she doesn’t always have an immediate solution for someone’s problems, Sonya has a
comforting aura about her that makes others feel at ease in her presence. She may not be the most talkative person
on earth, but she does go out of her way to help others whenever she can. She looks to the bright side of things,
and uses that optimism to soothe her friends whenever they come to her with a problem.
[OVERPROTECTIVE] – Sonya cares a lot for her friends, acquaintances, and even just peers, but there are many
times when that care comes off as too much. She wants to ensure that they’re safe at all times, so it’s no surprise
that people may feel suffocated by the amount of care she displays towards them. After helping someone get over a
rough patch in life, she may continue to hover around them for an indefinite amount of time, or be suspicious of
anyone else they talk to.
[AMBIVERTED] – It comes as a surprise to many that even though she doesn’t talk as much as the next person,
Sonya feels comfortable with groups of people. She enjoys participating in activities with large groups and finds that
their energy seeps into her and makes her feel livelier too. However, she also has many introverted traits, as she
takes great joy in solitary tasks as well, such as sitting by herself under the night sky, and likes to observe situations
before jumping in.
NATALIE WINCHESTER ⋆ 19 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Nyx ⋆ Alexandra Daddario ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: the night, darkness and shadows, lollipops, cats
- Dislikes: excessive light, noble heroes, people who intrude on her space without permission, strobe lights, ferrets
You’re like a black cat with a black back pack full of fireworks and
you’re gonna burn the city down right now.
As a child, Natalie hardly spoke, instead choosing to observe her world through her large black eyes. It wasn’t that
she didn’t know how to talk (she spoke her first word around 8 months old), as her doctors were worried about, it
was just that she was a keen observer and listener rather than a doer and talker. Even those who lived with her
were hard-pressed to know what she was thinking, but as she hardly gave any trouble, no one really paid her much
attention.
Due to a number of circumstances, Natalie was forced to transfer to many different schools throughout her
education life. Whether it was for family reasons, financial reasons, or even personal reasons (Had she gotten into a
fight with a principal? Was she a drug dealer by night? Did she cast a curse onto the school?), no one knew. People
have asked her before, but Natalie’s only responses consisted of coy smiles, nonchalant lies, ominous silences, or
curious questions of her own, and that was the end of it. There was an air of mystery that surrounded her, but
although many tried to find out more about her or get answers from her, very few actually succeeded in knowing
more than her name - and then suddenly, Natalie would transfer schools for some unknown reason, never to be
heard from again. There was one particular rumor that seemed to be universal among all the schools she went to: a
rumor that she either got pregnant, or had an abortion, and that was why she’d been held back a year. However,
since no one could prove these rumors to be true or false, they simply remained rumors, albeit with strong
conviction, as rumors cannot arise without evidence.
No one quite remembers which year it was that Natalie came to Mount Olympus High - not even the Dean. It seems
like she’s just always been there: she wanders wherever she wants, sometimes going with the flow, sometimes
doing her own thing, sometimes staying with the crowd, and sometimes preferring to be alone. It’s anyone’s guess
what’s going on in that mind of hers, as Natalie doesn’t reveal much of herself on command, yet wherever anyone
turns, she seems to be there, observing and, on occasion, even putting in one sentence of opinion.
Often acts:
[SECRETIVE] – She presents a cool, detached, and unemotional air to the world, but underneath her impassive
exterior lies tremendous power - even if people don’t really know this for sure as a fact, they do feel the aura she
gives out. Whatever happiness or hurt she may have encountered in her past lies buried under her mysterious front.
Her secretiveness and mystery naturally draws people to her, and though she may ask questions of others from
time to time, it is rare that she allows others to find out about herself.
[PRACTICAL] – Perhaps one of the reasons why Natalie doesn’t show much variety in emotion is because of her
belief that emotions are impractical in the real world. She has always dealt with feelings and events in a detached,
businesslike manner. She doesn’t like to let her emotions get the best of her, nor to let outside details affect her
thinking. She prefers to deal with issues in a pragmatic way, stating her feelings outright then detaching herself
from them as soon as possible. She has also been known to dismiss frivolous ideas like love, and with her usually
serious and grave demeanor, nobody has really asked why.
[EVEN-TEMPERED] – Natalie’s emotions don’t rule her head; she isn’t easily angered or prone to mood swings,
but remains calm, even and especially in times of crisis. In fact, she’s relatively amused by whatever goes on around
her, whether good or bad. Even when someone tries to insult or offend her, she brushes it off and doesn’t hold it
against them. On the rare occasion that she does get angry, her wrath is terrible to behold, and the offense
wouldn’t be repeated again - but on the most part, Natalie’s moods are as smooth and undetectable as the
transition from day to night.

+ Likes: parties, alcohol, flirtatious teasing, working out
- Dislikes: attention-seeking girls, low self-esteem, argyle print
Time out, but keep the tapes rolling, just in case I say anything
brilliant. Time out, but keep those cameras rolling, just in case I don’t
look this good forever.
Attractive, even as a child, and born to rich older parents who sincerely believed they were unable to have children,
Hunter was doted upon as a child - not only by his own parents, but by strangers in the street as well. When he’d go
to the gym with his father, even as a young teen, people would comment on Hunter’s well-defined muscles, and
he’d often find girls staring at him unabashedly. More often than not, he’d leave the gym with several phone
numbers.
Though Hunter always enjoyed being doted upon, especially by those who weren’t his parents, there were times
when Hunter felt like he wanted to earn that admiration instead of having it purely because of his looks and
physique. When these bouts of ‘earning admiration’ hit him, Hunter would go out of his way to help people: folding
laundry, mowing lawns, rescuing cats from trees, stopping a runaway pram. It didn’t matter what it was, he would
do it, and bask in the admiration that came with it, knowing it had been earned.
At school, Hunter receives admiration and praise around almost every corner. He’s constantly being fawned over,
and he’s learnt to combat that with a cool, poised and nonchalant demeanour - which seems to drive his admirers
wild. He’s popular and gets along well with almost the whole student body, but there are a few who have taken a
dislike to Hunter and the ease with which he makes friends.
Often acts:
[VALIANT] – When the mood strikes him, Hunter can be the very embodiment of valour. Like a knight of old,
Hunter will go out of his way to help anyone and everyone who needs it, whether it be with homework, or a burning
house. Once, he spent four hours holding a lady’s knitting, just because she needed the help. He did, however,
pocket a hundred dollars afterwards, so perhaps it was a slightly more selfish act than he makes it out to be.
[ARROGANT] – He can’t help his slight egotism; constantly being complimented on his looks as child has swelled
his head slightly, and he’s developed a minor superiority complex, which is part of the reason he enjoys helping
others so much. Nothing makes me happier than knowing there is someone who needs help that only he can give
them. His overly-confident nature does rub a few people up the wrong way, and though he tries to tone it down, it
does rear its head occasionally.
[NONCHALANT] – For the most part, Hunter tries to create an air of carefree indifference around him. Its sexy
and mysterious quality seem to attract people to him more than even before, and he accepts the compliments he
receives with a small smile and nod of the head.
PETER CHRISTOPHER ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Perseus ⋆ Nico Tortorella ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: challenges, fighting monsters, shiny surfaces, pumpkins (and smashing them)
- Dislikes: tramp stamps, cowboy boots, his mom’s boyfriends, snakes
‘Cause you burn with the brightest flame and the world’s gonna know
your name and you’ll be on the walls of the hall of fame.
There were two things in Peter’s life that he loved more than anything else: completing challenges, and proving that
he did so. He always felt a rivalry with the boyfriends that his single mom brought home during his childhood, and
managed to drive away every one of them by being the most obnoxious he could be. He believed his mother only
deserved the best in life, and every man she liked was implicitly competing against him for his own spot in her life.
Her son always won out, of course, and despite the horribly obnoxious things he did, she never failed to reward him
and tell him how much she loved him.
When Peter grew older and began to socialize with more people, the concept he most associated himself with was
karma. Appreciate the good people and scorn the evil ones, he was taught, and he thought it was the best idea he’d
ever heard of. Once, he caught a particularly mean boy bullying a helpless girl in the corner of the playground for
being afraid of a bee; determined to save and avenge the girl, he brought a snake to school the next day and hid it
in the bully’s desk, a deed which resulted in loud helpless screaming as everyone but Peter climbed atop their desk
to get away from it. Needless to say, the bully was paralyzed, as if turned to stone, and never bullied anyone ever
again. On another note, Peter also took an interest in shiny surfaces: once, when he attended a medieval fair, Peter
spent all his time staring at knights’ shining shields and good-luck talismans. He even begged his mother to buy him
a souvenir sword, which came to accompany him wherever he went, making him feel like a true avenger of justice.
At school, Peter is quite outgoing, never failing to say hi to anyone he meets, or shout a contemptuous remark to
anyone he dislikes. He still carries his sword in his backpack, despite what the Dean and the others say about him,
and jumps at challenges whenever they are given to him.
Often acts:
[FEARLESS] – Peter is all but a coward, no what the situation. He never panics and is always ready and willing to
tackle dangerous situations head on. He loves the power and adrenaline rush he gets from diving into danger head-
first. He also likes to reiterate the fact that he isn’t afraid of anything, that no challenge can faze him. The scariest
movie is, in his eyes, no scarier than early Saturday-morning cartoons. This boasting about his bravery has earned
him much admiration, but also much hatred.
[RIGHTEOUS] – Karma’s motto is his motto - do unto others how they do unto you. Peter has been known to egg
his mom’s ex-boyfriends’ houses as well as gift his favorite teachers with generous boxes of chocolate. He believes
people deserve what’s given to them, and he is determined to be the one to do it himself. Bullying the bullies and
doing extreme favors for his friends - that is the dichotomy of attitudes that Peter follows; whatever is done to him,
he will retaliate tenfold.
[OBNOXIOUS] – As wonderful a friend as Peter is, he has times when he can be incredibly obnoxious and
immature. For one, he doesn’t like the idea of going out into the world as an adult - he loves being able to return
home to a hot meal and a warm bed, without having to think about either of them. He likes to make jokes at the
most inopportune moments and brings up inappropriate subjects at the wrong times. When he’s not fighting
injustice, he’s being an immature little boy - wild and not ready to grow up.
THOMAS ADAMS ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Theseus ⋆ Rami Malek ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: comic book superheroes, The Powerpuff Girls (secretly), tea, children
- Dislikes: porcelain dolls, staying in the shadows, whipped cream, bullies
Who’s gonna fight for the weak? Who’s gonna make ‘em believe? I’ve
got a hero livin’ in me.
Because Thomas’s father left while his wife was pregnant, Thomas never had the chance to know his father, or any
sort of father figure. His mother was a traditional woman, and so Thomas grew up believing that all women needed
protecting, and that he was the only one strong enough to protect his mother. He was his mother’s hero, and she
fawned over him as such. A hero’s job was to save the damsel in distress, and with shelves full of fairytale
storybooks and knight figurines, Thomas never believed any different. Though Thomas happily battled dragons and
slayed monsters, he never knew what to do with the damsel in the end, and usually ended up leaving the imaginary
damsel, still in distress.
The older Thomas became, the more being a “hero” got to his head, and he found himself making a point of helping
others. He became the first to do anything in the classroom: first to introduce himself, first to ask and answer a
question, even first to choose people to work with on group projects. Besides that, on the playground, he was also
the first to stand up to many bullies, ending many long terrible reigns of bullies over the years. When he was in the
8th grade, there was one particularly notorious bully who terrorized the other middle-schoolers by demanding
that.seven “weaklings” give him their lunches and/or lunch money every week, and physically beat them around if
they didn’t. Thomas saved his fellow classmates from this terror by challenging him to a good old-fashioned fistfight
after school one day; after attaining indisputable victory, the bully never threatened anyone again, and so Thomas
brought peace to his middle school.
Thomas dealt with high school bullies and meanness just the way he did in middle school: with wit and,
occasionally, his fists. He doesn’t like seeing people bullied or being victims, and so, as one of the self-proclaimed
heroes of the school, stands up for them and does his best to help them overcome his problems, which has earned
its fair share of friends and admirers.
Often acts:
[HEROIC] – Thomas is an outgoing guy, but can be irritating to some people. With a mindset that is fixated on
being the hero and saving others, he might come across as self-centered, but he genuinely just wants to be of
service to others. He makes a point of defending the weak, often exaggerating their problems just so he can feel like
he has something to do; while some may think he’s addicted to the spotlight, Thomas is in “the hero act” not for the
glamor (although it is nice), but for the satisfying feeling of being able to help someone out.
[RASH] – In his hurry to lend a helping hand, Thomas has a tendency to jump into things without fully thinking
them through. Once, he helped an old lady across the street, only to find that she had been waiting for a bus at the
bus stop, and caused her to miss her bus. Another time, he made flash cards for his friend to study for a test, but in
his excitement he mixed up the subjects, and ended up writing scientific definitions on the back of math formulas.
He has even misplaced many of his belongings, simply by putting them down to help someone and then forgetting
where he put them.
[COMPLACENT] – Thomas is quite happy with the way he is; despite the issues caused by his rashness and desire
to be a hero over the years, he still believes that the benefits outweigh the negatives. It has rarely occurred to him
that other people should make mistakes for their own sake, or that people should learn to stand up for themselves.
He intends to “mother” people in his year until the end of time, and sees no reason to change his behavior.
JACE MITCHELL ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Jason ⋆ Josh Hutcherson ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: exploring, sheep, documentaries, being leader
- Dislikes: being alone, incense, his stepfather, greedy people
Everyone’s on something and you can find Mister Popular, but crack
him open, girl, and you’ll find something wrong.
Jace’s stepfather was an immensely jealous man, and couldn’t stand the thought of having another male in the
house to rival his power - which is why he never took a liking to his stepson, and even went so far as to force Jace’s
mother to spend more time with him than with her own son. Jace was always being sent to tutors and extra lessons
and to his relatives’ houses, but he knew it was just a ploy to get him out of the house, and especially out of his
stepfather’s sight. Wanting to be accepted by his stepfather though, Jace tried to do his best to be a model son, and
tried to bring no extra trouble to their family.
On the way home from middle school one day, Jace helped an old lady across the street and somehow lost a shoe in
the process. Although he felt proud of himself for having made a difference in someone’s life, no matter how small,
his stepfather became so angry with him for losing his new shoe that he sent Jace to his relatives’ for a month, for
reasons Jace was never able to understand. During that month, Jace’s attitude towards his stepdad and his life
gradually changed: his father just wasn’t worth trying to please anymore, and he should spend his life doing what he
wanted to do. On a rebellious streak, he formed a gang from the misfit kids in his community, who not only helped
him cause all sorts of mischief around the neighborhood, but also helped to fill the void in his heart from being
neglected by his parents. As the most adventurous and self-serving of them all, he proved to be an effective leader,
and has braved many sticky situations with his group of “soldiers,” as he affectionately calls them… situations like
gang arguments, school dances, and surviving picture day - basically, they’re just a group of middle school boys
trying to get through life.
The bonds within Jace’s gang have survived even high school - though only a select few of them were admitted to
Mount Olympus High. Nonetheless, he still finds ways to round up his people from time to time, but he has a habit
of only wanting to hang out with interesting people. Perhaps that’s the reason why he’s dated so many girls and
started and ended so many friendships - he’s still lonely inside, and people and adventure are his only two outlets.
Often acts:
[SELFISH] – How ironic it is that Jace exhibits many of traits that he so hated in his stepfather, one of them being
his selfishness. He has a tendency to only remember people when he has a favor to ask of them, and moves on fairly
quickly if they can’t provide what he wants. Maybe it’s due to his parents’ neglect: without their love, he has to earn
his own and put himself first, because if he doesn’t, who will?
[LONELY] – Despite being surrounded by many friends, there are many times when Jace still feels like a lost soul
cast out at sea. Sure, his gang members may be his closest friends, but if asked what his biggest secrets or weakest
moments are, none of them would be able to answer. Jace tries to talk to people and do as much as he can to
escape the void of loneliness in him, but no one really knows how well it’s working.
[EFFICIENT] – There must be some reason why Jace has been the undisputed leader for so long - and that reason
is probably his efficient way of working. When he’s faced with an obstacle, such as protesting for what he wants or
bumping up his test score average, he’s sure to find a way to get it done with quickly and move on. He also knows
how to use people’s strengths to their advantage.
PERSIA WILLOW ⋆ 16 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Penelope ⋆ Sophie Turner ⋆ OPEN
Her parents’ incredible bond was an inspiration to Persia. She was determined to keep friendships for life, and stuck
with that goal for most of elementary school. Though her family was doing well financially, she was never one to
brag about it, knowing that there were other possibly less fortunate souls beside her. However, there was one
incident in her 8th grade year that changed her philosophy: she found that someone had been using her naive
friendliness only to cheat her out of her homework answers, nearly getting her expelled from the school as a strict
policy against plagiarism was in place. Realizing that untrustworthy people did indeed exist brought out a strong
sense of self-righteousness in her. Her amiability and fierce loyalty did not change, but if a supposed friend did
something even slightly against her beliefs, Persia would drop them faster than gravity could, forgetting of them and
never speaking to them again.
High school was a daunting concept, but Persia felt she was ready. She was ready to join clubs and fight for causes
which she believed in, as well as help guard other innocent and naive girls against the evils of humans. A good
student and dependable girl, Persia soon found herself often surrounded by people wanting to be her friend. Now
in her third year, Persia has settled comfortably into her teen years, optimistically believing that only good can come
from now on.
Often acts:
[DOGGED] – When Persia sets her mind on something, no one doubts that she will accomplish it. She sticks to
what she believes in and is loyal to those who are loyal to her. When she asks for something, she remains steadfast
in her demands and does not change her mind easily. Occasionally her stubbornness may turn out to be a flaw, but
she sticks to her decisions and beliefs because they are a part of who she is.
[TOUCHING] – Persia does care for what her friends are feeling, thinking hard before giving any sort of advice and
weighing her words carefully so as not to accidentally hurt anyone else. She seeks out her friends’ problems and
does her best to help. Caring but not overbearing, she knows when someone is no longer in need of a helping hand.
[RIGHTEOUS] – With strong beliefs, Persia definitely practices what she preaches. She finds a good reason to
justify whatever she does, and although that reason may seem valid to her (“I had to stop to pet a dog!”), it may not
be good enough for other people. She believes in justice for everyone - people who do criminal deeds deserve the
consequences they get, and good people deserve good things despite whatever sins they may have committed.

+ Likes: Indiana Jones, James Bond, ships, puns
- Dislikes: strong winds, orchids, mumblers, anchovies
Hurry now we’re getting out, this time there’s nothing stopping us.
Leave behind this vacant town tonight and let it turn to rust.
From a young age, Oakley was well aware of his own intelligence. Not only did he outshine every child in his
playgroup when it came to building things from Lego, but he was able to answer his parents - rhetorical - questions
about life and the universe - even if his answers weren’t always strictly correct. He had an active mind and an
insatiable imagination, and his parents helped him mould his mind every chance they got. The house was soon filled
with all sorts of brain-teaser books, Sudoku puzzles, and an assortment of logic books. Oakley would often spend
lazy Sunday afternoons filling in book after book.
Yet the older he grew, the more he began to focus on his love of adventure. Oakley was forever reading adventure
novels, watching adventure movies, wishing to go on the kinds of adventures his heroes went on. It became a kind
of obsession for him, and Oakley found himself wanting more and more to just get out of Portland and explore the
world, see just what was out there waiting for him.
At school, Oakley is outgoing and incredibly well liked, and has made many friends and acquaintances through his
extra-curricular involvement, especially in sport. However it’s well known that not everything that comes out of
Oakley’s mouth is true, and even his friends sometimes find themselves to be second-guessing some of the things
Oakley says.
Often acts:
[ASTUTE] – Oakley has always taken pride in his ability to assess a situation and, more often than not, come up
with the perfect solution for said situation. He’s incredibly perceptive, and is the first person most go to when they
need help to get out of a sticky situation.
[ADVENTUROUS] – Oakley made a point of exploring his town as a little kid. His reasoning was that if he couldn’t
go and explore the world out there, he could at least make do with exploring his own backyard, which the
progressed into exploring the city of Portland itself. He’s found hidden stores in laneways, and met some interesting
people on these adventures of his, and its only fueled his desire to go on an adventure into the wide world once
school’s done.
[DEVIOUS] – It’s well known around town that you can’t believe everything Oakley Notte says. His mischievous
ways are infamous, and he’s quite good at saying things with such nonchalance and ease that one wants to believe
him automatically. But tricking people is ingrained into Oakley, and it doesn’t matter who it is, or whether the trick -
or lie - is big or small, if he sees an opportunity to sharpen his wily ways, he’ll take it no matter the consequences.
OSCAR ARNOLDS ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Orion ⋆ Daniel Sharman ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: arrows, Merida from Brave, stars and constellations, coffee
- Dislikes: orange soda, being told what to do, enclosed spaces
When you shoot across the sky like a broken arrow, it’s so hard to
keep yourself on the straight and narrow.
Try as hard as he might, Oscar could never be the model child his parents wanted him to be. Born to an archery
instructor and an amateur astronomer mother, it was only natural that his interests were archery and astronomy.
His mother cried tears of happiness when, at two years of age, he could point out the constellations Andromeda,
Hercules and Orion on her star charts. By the age of four, he was a better archer than his father, and often took over
his father’s classes without meaning to. But when it came to Oscar’s personality, his parents despaired. Instead of
the patient, obedient, lovely boy they’d always wanted, they got a boy who, once he had an idea in his head,
followed it through not matter what. This caused some sticky situations for his parents, especially when it came to
school.
School was never his strong point; Oscar and authority weren’t a good mix. Whenever he was told to do something,
he almost always went out of his way to do the opposite. It was an innate part of him, and teachers soon realized
that no amount of detention or in-school suspension would change that.
At school, Oscar’s always surrounded by admirers, eager to see his archery skills in action. Though he is admired by
many, there aren’t many people he’s actually friends with; his acquaintances find his personality too egotistical after
a while, or he gets bored of his friends and dumps them for a new set. And the only reason he’s passing his classes is
because his mother occasionally substitutes for the school’s physics professor.
Often acts:
[COCKY] – Oscar’s always been conceited, and believed himself to be better than those around him. It’s one of the
reasons he refuses to pay attention to authority figures - he thinks himself superior than they are, and in his eyes,
his natural archery skills are just proof of his superiority.
[RESOURCEFUL] – Lack of materials has never stopped Oscar from achieving his goals. When, at four, his first
bow broke after he threw it across the archery field in anger when he missed a shot, he didn’t wait to get a new
one. Instead, he immediately fashioned a crude bow from a nearby tree, and made do with it for the rest of the day.
[OBSTINATE] – If Oscar’s told something’s impossible to do, then he’s going to go out of his way to try and
achieve it. And once he’s put his mind on something, it’s near impossible to get him to change it. He’s a stubborn as
a mule when he wants to be, and is often trying to outdo himself in ‘impossible’ situations, no matter how
dangerous they are.
HARPER MOORE ⋆ 17 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Helen of Troy ⋆ Amanda Seyfried ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: gold and silver, classic makeup styles, period dramas, trying new things
- Dislikes: cheesy endings, animal cruelty, early morning starts, bed hair
I loved her smile, in polaroid, in black and white.
Born to a pair of wealthy, distinguished adults, the name Harper Moore was famous from the moment she was
born. There was certainly no shortage of pictures of the beautiful infant, and many people hoped - or expected -
that she would either become as beautiful as her mother, or as clever as her father - or even both. Her parents used
much of their vast wealth to pamper their precious daughter and buy her whatever they thought she might need:
toys, pets, pretty clothes, an extra bodyguard - anything that would enrich her life.
However, having such wealth and fame wasn’t always the most desirable thing, especially for Harper. Her parents
had reputations to uphold, and damned be Harper if she ever did anything to give them bad press. Even in her first
years of starting school, she was also enrolled in science classes, music classes, as well as several tutoring sessions
to help her advance in her studies. Unfortunately for Harper, she didn’t consider herself to be on the intelligent
side; she struggled to get by in these extra lessons, which only encouraged her parents to enroll her in even more
lessons to supplement her education. To make matters worse, her parents’ dislike for bad press meant that poor
Harper wasn’t allowed to complain to anybody outside of her family about her troubles, but instead had to ignore
them and be composed and graceful like the proper lady she was expected to be.
The summer before Harper’s junior year, her family relocated to Oregon for business reasons, and though their
wealth stayed with them, their fame did not - but Harper didn’t mind. Transferring to Mount Olympus High would
be her chance to start a new life, to start over, build her own reputation, and make a name for her own self. She
wants to blend in with the other high school kids and have a normal life, even if her personal driver picks her up
punctually every day.
Often acts:
[LONGING] – She longs for a cleverer mind; she longs to walk around the mall with friends and not bodyguards;
she longs for parents who will listen to her troubles and truly care for her, instead of dismissing them and telling her
she should try harder to achieve what she wants. Basically, Harper longs for a life with more freedom, and it is that
longing that leads her to try new things. Though, based on her previous strictly routine life, Harper’s idea of “new
things” includes trying new cafeteria food, walking a different route to her next class, or saying something out of the
blue simply to be random.
[COMPOSED] – Raised to be a “proper lady” to avoid bad press meant that Harper wasn’t allowed to do anything
wild or reckless. The proper lady developed in her has become part of her personality: when there’s a crisis, people
can count on her to keep her cool and calm down the rest of them. She has learned not to complain too much
about her problems.
[CONFIDENT] – It’s difficult to have a low opinion of one’s beauty when one has been described as “as beautiful
as a rose” ever since birth. Harper knows she’s attractive, and whilst you won’t find her acting haughty about her
attractiveness, she certainly doesn’t bother to play up the “pity” card in an attempt to go compliment fishing. She
doesn’t need to. Strangers often stop her to tell her how pretty she is, and Harper accepts their compliments
graciously, not letting it get to her head. Now if only she was as confident in her studies as she was in her own skin…
PHOENIX WINTERS ⋆ 17 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Paris ⋆ Eddie Redmayne ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: apples, Gordon Ramsey, adventure, Simon Cowell, sci-fi
- Dislikes: being lost, cake, fake fruit, people who beat around the bush
Get your motor running, head out on the highway, looking for
adventure in whatever comes our way.
Phoenix was given up at birth for reasons unknown to him, and so he was sent to an orphanage and put into the
system so that he could find a place to call home and people to call family. Fortunately, since he was just an infant,
it didn’t take long for an eager couple to take him in and add him to their family. If there was any motto they lived
by, it was that “honesty is the best policy,” which is why they told little Phoenix he was adopted as soon as he could
carry a conversation. Although he couldn’t fully understand the implications of being adopted at the time, he knew
that to be loved enough that someone wanted him in their family was a true gift. He loved his parents and was very
satisfied with the life he was given, but there was a part of him, deep down, that felt like something was missing,
that there was still a little void in his life needing to be filled.
Growing up involved a lot of sports with his dad. He never really liked - or was good at for that matter - actually
being on the field or touching the ball, but he loved watching them. He found it hard to follow the ball in the midst
of all the players, but he was awed by the way the referees were able to call fouls at a moment’s notice - they were
the ones who had true control of the game. During a friend’s soccer game in his middle school years, the referee got
knocked out by a ball to the head. Of course, that should have ended the game, but Phoenix wouldn’t have it. He
knew the game meant a lot to his friend, who was on the field, and so he insisted that he fill in for the injured man.
At first, people were against it because were afraid he would be biased, but eventually they gave in and allowed him
to judge the remainder of the game. It was just middle school after all, the game wasn’t too serious. He proved
them wrong however; he called out fouls whenever he saw them, no matter which team they came from. The game
was tied until the very end when his friend’s mistake cost their team the game. The audience, and even his friend,
were impressed by his lack of bias during the game. The respect he gained from that incident, plus others just like it,
made him proud, and he felt like he’d achieved a milestone in his life.
High school started out differently than he expected. In contrast to the friends in middle school who had learned
not to take him too seriously, people in high school often got mad at him, and he rarely understood why. Didn’t
people want to hear the truth? Nonetheless, Phoenix’s friendliness has earned him some good friends who have
helped him fill that void in his life. Since this is his senior year though, he is apprehensive about the future years to
come, and about losing touch with everyone at Mount Olympus High.
Often acts:
[HONEST] – His parents have always believed that honesty is the best policy, and Phoenix, never really knowing a
different way to go about things, wholeheartedly agrees. Therefore, his compliments and praises are always sincere
and given in a straightforward manner, and each one is sure to earn a grateful smile in return. On the flip side, this
means that his insults and not-so-positive thoughts come from his mouth unfiltered as well. With a clear set of
morals, he calls things like he sees them, which has earned but also lost him many potential friends.
[INDECISIVE] – Ever since Phoenix was young, he’d always felt that there was a little part of him that was missing,
that needed to be filled - though he couldn’t explain any more than that. Phoenix has always had trouble knowing
what he wanted, especially when it came to what he wanted to do with his life. Did he want to become famous? Did
he want to win an award? Did he want to settle down with a pretty woman? Even having to make smaller decisions
from day to day is something that doesn’t come easily to him: if there is no clear logical answer, he will spend an
eternity trying to make the right choice.
[FORGIVING] – Phoenix could never understand how people could stay angry for long periods of time. Though he
has things he hates and people who annoy him, he would rather forgive and forget than hold onto a grudge for
long. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why he’s seen alone just as often as he’s seen with other people: people like
him because he forgives and forgets their mistakes, yet people also hate him because he seems like he’s almost
never unhappy or bitter.
OLIVIA SMYTHESSON ⋆ 18 ⋆ Senior ⋆ Oizys ⋆ Phoebe Tonkin ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: the Marquis de Sade, ferrets, dystopian films, funerals

She’s cold and she’s cruel, but she knows what she’s doing.
Younger than Mark by a mere four minutes, Olivia was almost constantly joined to her brother’s side, even from
birth. Her sadistic personality melded in well with that of her brothers, and even as a child, Olivia got a kick out of
watching people cry from her brothers taunts. She learnt very quickly that her favorite thing in the world was when
other people were upset, and started seeking out ways to surround herself with sad and lonely people.
The older she became, the more she realized that, just like Mark, she too could be the cause of people’s pain and
sadness. Rather than going to strange funerals and basking in the grief there, she could use mean words and taunts
to make people cry. Once she’d realized this, Olivia became a whirlwind of cruelty. Nothing was off-limits, and the
more upset she made people, the better she felt about herself.
At school, Olivia sticks close to her brother. The two of them find solace in each other’s company, and taunting
others is a lot more fun when there’s someone egging you on. She doesn’t have many friends - she’s far too mean
for that - but Olivia doesn’t care. Friends are for the weak and insecure, and that certainly isn’t Olivia.
Often acts:
[CRUEL] – Olivia likes nothing more than sticking a red-hot knife into people’s ribcages - although the knife is
usually her cruel words. She finds it fascinating how easily people crumble at a mere mean word, and gets endless
joy from it.
[SADISTIC] – Always one to kick a person when they’re down, Olivia doesn’t have an off button. Her cruel taunts
often go to the extreme, and it’s not uncommon for Olivia to turn to violence if she doesn’t think her words are
having the effect she desires. Her sadistic personality has caused several students to have nervous breakdowns,
with one or two even admitted into hospital for attempted suicide. To Olivia, that’s just the reaction she was looking
for.
[UNCARING] – Suicidal tendencies, diagnosed depression, uncontrollable crying - no matter how badly Olivia’s
words seem to effect others, she doesn’t seem to notice, or, more accurately, she doesn’t seem to care. Olivia
couldn’t care less if someone’s dog just died and in fact, she’s more likely to use that as fuel against them, trying to
push them over the edge.

Growing up, Mark was never like the ‘other’ kids. He never knew when to stop teasing someone, even if they were
on the ground sobbing, and he always took pleasure in making fun of others. Though Mark was reprimanded
constantly for his behavior as a child, he never took any note of the reprimands, treating them as little more than a
joke. And a bad one, at that. Even as a child, Mark was of the opinion that life was dull unless you could make fun of
the people living it.
The older he grew, the harsher his taunts became. He began to pick on every little insecurity about a person, loving
the way they would crumble under his observations. Soon, he began to create lies to feed his insatiable lust for
ridicule, and his ways of humiliating others seemed endless - especially when he paired up with his twin sister,
Olivia. Together, the two were able to make even the strongest person crumble.
At school, Mark is mostly avoided by other students, as they’re afraid of what he’ll say to them. Nothing is taboo for
Mark, and he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty - which is why so many students dislike him, and would love to see
him kicked out of the school.
Often acts:
[MOCKING] – It’s his mother tongue; his second skin; the comforting blanket on a cold winter’s night. Mark
doesn’t know where he would be without his gifts of sarcasm and ridicule, both of which he has honed into one
super sharp silver tongue. He mightn’t make any friends by mocking them constantly, but it provides him with
endless amusement.
[UNTRUTHFUL] – Though he makes up false rumors about people, Mark also utilises the power of a lie to find out
more about people. He’ll lie blatantly to someone’s face - like when he told a freshman that their mother was
having an affair with the principal - and watch their reaction in amusement. Sometimes, his falsehoods have turned
out to be true, which, of course, only causes him even more amusement, and gives Mark more ammunition for
ridicule.
[CRITICAL] – To properly mock someone, to really get under their skin and expose their insecurities, one must
always be observant, judgemental, ready to pick on anything and everything about a person. Mark perfected this at
a young age, and will either loudly proclaim his criticisms to the person involved, or to a bystander, or he will keep
silent but give them a look of utter disdain. More often than not, Mark finds that the look results in more
embarrassment for the person than the loud proclamation does, and has since perfected his disdainful gaze.

I don’t care what they’re going to say. Let the storm rage on, the cold
never bothered me anyway.
Beau grew up in South Korea with a wealthy family, who imposed strict standards on how to dress and behave.
Although all of his physical and material needs were met, he had trouble living up to the expectations that his family
had for him. He struggled most with accompanying them to formal parties; sitting still in a corner for hours on end
while his parents talked about business became his worst living nightmare.
Before he turned nine his family relocated to America and changed their last name, for reasons he couldn’t care to
know or understand. He was overjoyed, having heard horror stories about American children being wild animals,
stories he wanted to witness himself. What he found, however, left him absolutely horrified. These kids were worse
than animals - on the contrary, they were even more proper than the ones he’d left behind. This made him change
his ways: he adopted a new name and set out to become the wild animal he thought American children should be.
He had always been bursting with energy, and he wasn’t going to hold it back anymore. During class he
experimented with how much he could wiggle in his seat and ask to use the bathroom in one hour before getting
reprimanded. During recess he bounced from corner to corner, joining in on everyone’s playtime; occasionally he
was so aggressive that the other children would leave and hope he didn’t follow, but that didn’t bother him - he
would join in on someone else’s game! As long as there was something fun to do, he was happy.
People had hoped that high school would calm Beau back down, that his middle school years were just him making
up for the previous years in South Korea. They couldn’t have been more wrong. He found high school to be a new
playground of extraordinary potential. He found the teachers much more lenient on the rules; whether it was
because they didn’t care or didn’t want to deal with their students, he really couldn’t care less. He had a new sense
of freedom, and the classmates who are familiar with him have learned to tolerate his hyperactivity.
Often acts:
[IMPULSIVE] – Unpredictable and hyperactive, Beau likes to do things spontaneously without a second thought.
Just like the tornadoes he’s seen on the news, the urge to move or to do something irrational often strikes him out
of nowhere. He may sit down to do some homework, but then feel the urge to run around the block instead; he
might not get any work done, but following his impulses makes him feel much happier and more satisfied with
himself.
[PETULANT] – A mischievous little boy, Beau likes to take what he can have - and if he can’t have it, he’ll take it
anyway. Not only does he have an attitude that he’s entitled to what he wants, but worse, if he doesn’t, he’ll pout,
whine, and complain endlessly until someone shows him a way out of his problem. His moods bounce around
almost as much as his physical body does, and anyone who thinks they can control them doesn’t know him as well
as they should.
[FLEXIBLE] – Though many wouldn’t think it, Beau does have the ability to adapt to new situations (though not
always the willingness). After all, he adjusted quite easily from South Korea to America, didn’t he? When Beau is
placed in a new situation or in unfamiliar territory, it isn’t long before he has a feel for the place and adjusts his
behavior to achieve maximum chaos.

- Dislikes: ungratefulness, people who don’t know what they’re doing, being used, cherry pie
Reach out for her healing hands, there’s a light, where the darkness
ends. Touch me now and let me see again.
Asher grew up in a household with not only his parents and two siblings but also his three cousins, three aunts and
three uncles. Needless to say, there was hardly a time when he wasn’t surrounded by at least two other people.
Asher never minded it much, as his family was very closely bonded, but there seemed to be a constant problem in
that one of them was always coming down with something. Whether it was a sister’s chronic asthma, a cousin’s
broken bone, or an uncle’s high fever, it was as if their household was bombarded with sickness, one after another,
an issue that did nothing to help their already low financial situation. Although they all tried their best to pool
enough money to maintain their large family, they rarely had enough to pay for adequate health insurance, and
even less to pay for constant visits to the doctor, and so they did their best to get by on drugstore first aid kits.
However, their lives changed for the better after Asher came into the picture. He had a natural hand for medicines
and tonics, and his brain was able to find the best way to care for the ailments at hand.
When Asher went to school, there was no subject that he picked up faster than the natural sciences, especially
biology and chemistry. He pored over textbooks and encyclopedias for hours on end, quietly absorbing all the
information, ready to apply the knowledge to use in real life. Though he was comfortable with talking to his family
members, he was quite shy when it came to meeting people in school, and his scientific journals became his best
friends. Being of fragile health, he himself was never allowed to participate in physical activities, but he was quite
content with sitting on the sidelines and watching his classmates work their bodies, ready to jump to action should
one of them get hurt. It was through years of attending to others that people began calling him Dr. Coleman.
Whether they were making fun of him or not didn’t matter to Asher; all that mattered was that he was there to help
someone in need, and it was through years of caring for his classmates and family members that he thought about
actually pursuing a career in medicine.
Asher’s first experience at Mount Olympus High was his physical exam the summer before his freshman year.
Although it was apparent that he was in no shape to participate in physical activity, the teachers were impressed by
his knowledge of the human body, and immediately scouted him as the nurse’s assistant. Though initially
intimidated by the talent at Mount Olympus High, Asher has grown to enjoy the variety of people and doing what
he is best at, which is caring for other people.
Often acts:
[KNOWLEDGEABLE] – Asher likes to be in the know of what’s going on around him, particularly in the medical
field. A tour of his room would reveal stacks of medicinal and health magazines, life science textbooks, and medical
journals published by the most ancient doctors to have existed. Being updated with the current events makes him
feel better equipped to handle the world around him. However, though his knowledge includes world events, he
doesn’t know much when it comes to people; he could list off all the major medicinal discoveries in the past few
years, but he would miss the latest on who’s dating who.
[COOPERATIVE] – “A friend in need’s a friend indeed” is one of Asher’s favorite expressions. There is no feeling
that can match the wonderful feeling of being able to help someone, and he’s always willing to lend a hand to
whoever needs it or asks for one. Unfortunately for Asher, he’s also known to be pretty gullible, rushing to the side
of boys who cried wolf, only to find out he’s been tricked. However, despite those times, his heart is still as big as a
blue whale’s, and he is willing to help or collaborate with anyone to get the job done.
[INVENTIVE] – Asher’s mind is always concocting new ideas and plans for experiments, both in the medicinal field
and otherwise. His family members have tried many of his homemade “new and improved” remedies (which were
mixes of various medicines and herbs), and so far, none of their conditions have worsened - granted, they may have
experienced some strange side effects shortly after, but they didn’t last for long, and in the end, they helped Asher
perfect his antidotes until they were safe for outsiders to use.

+ Likes: competing, video games, sports, medals
- Dislikes: losing, wheatgrass, matching dinnerware, participation ribbons
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race and I ain’t
gonna lose.
Nina always had an overly competitive streak. On her first day in playgroup, she was sent home early for playing
“aggressively” with the other children. This was just a nice way of saying that Nina’s behavior - challenging other
children to run races with her, and then yelling at them when they lost (or, in a rare case, beat her) - wasn’t
acceptable at the playgroup.
Her competitive nature was something that never waned - though Nina did learn to be nicer about it and to
encourage those who foolishly challenged her - and she was always in some sports club or another. When she
turned ten, her close neighbor gave Nina an old Playstation 2, and that kickstarted Nina’s love affair with video
games and gaming consoles of all kinds. It soon became common for her to stay up into the wee hours of the
morning, trying to beat her own score on levels or even whole games she’d already beaten. The reason she enjoyed
gaming so much was not merely for the sake of winning, but more for the thrill of playing.
At school, Nina tries to participate in every sport she can; many of the coaches have had to tell her to focus more on
schoolwork more than once, giving her a break from the team. Because of her enthusiasm, she’s very well known
around the school, as she appears in not only every sports match, but also in every school assembly and pep rally
Mount Olympus High has. When not playing or training, it’s not uncommon to find Nina encouraging other students
in what they’re doing, or sitting in the hallway, playing on a portable gaming console and trying to beat her own
score.
Often acts:
[COMPETITIVE] – It’s no secret that Nina likes to compete, nor that she likes to win. Being an only child meant
that Nina never had a chance to get her competitive nature out of her system. Her constant expulsion from
playgroups didn’t do anything to help her competitive attitude, and though video games help control it somewhat,
it still doesn’t fully help, and there have been times when Nina’s gotten a little too competitive on the field, sending
players home with bloody noses, even from her own team.
[ENTHUSIASTIC] – Despite her somewhat over-competitive nature, Nina cannot be faulted in her enthusiasm.
She’s always smiling and encouraging others in what they do, and Nina is always looking to help people, especially
in the athletic field. She enjoys competition just for the sake of competition, and whether she wins or loses, she’s
always up for another round.
[SOCIABLE] – Whether it’s an ingrown part of who Nina is as a person, or a product of being on various sports
teams since the age of three, Nina has always been extremely friendly and talkative, striking up conversations with
those whom she gets along with, and those with whom she doesn’t. She’s often butting into other people’s
conversations, and tries to meet at least one new person a day.

You were a problem child, been grounded your whole life so now you
runnin’ wild, playin’ with them good girls, no, that ain’t your style.
If ever something were to go awry when Elise was near, one could always been sure she had something to do with
it. Nothing was safe from her destructive touch - no matter how hard she tried to keep things the same. Things were
forever disappearing, and other things appearing in their place. Once, as a child, her father, holding her as he took
her to the car, grabbed what he thought was his work briefcase, only to realize when he got to work that he’d
somehow picked up his wife’s makeup storage box - though he could have sworn the two were nowhere near each
other at the time. Things of this nature were always happening to or around Elise, and it frustrated her parents to
no end. Dinners would boil over, taps would continually leak despite constant maintenance, and dinners parties
always ended up in someone’s dress catching fire.
Elise’s parents blamed her for the constant goings-on in their house, and began to resent their daughter for making
such trouble in their lives. They stopped letting her go out, afraid of what would happen if she were allowed out,
and so Elise spent most of her pre-teen years holed up in her house when she wasn’t at school. She hated it, and
her parents were more than glad when it was time for her to go to high school. They encouraged her to stay out, do
her own thing, no longer caring about what would happen. Their house had been ruined enough. They figured it
was time for her to do damage to someone else’s property for a change.
At school, Elise takes enjoyment out of causing the littlest things to ruin someone’s life. Often people will put down
their schoolbooks, only to turn around a minute later and see Cosmo magazines in their place. Things go missing
from teacher’s desks all the time, and fire drills are always going off, despite nothing triggering them. She’s got a
small group of friends she hangs out with, and who have learnt to deal with her chaos-inducing ways. And of course,
Elise herself isn’t always immune to the chaos in her life.
Often acts:
[CLEVER] – Despite Elise’s messy and chaotic life, she’s incredibly intelligent. Whether it’s due to her not being
able to go out when she was younger - thus spending all her free time studying - or if she’s just naturally intelligent,
Elise is always getting good grades - usually without even trying. She’s convinced it’s the only reason she hasn’t
been kicked out of the school yet - good grades trump little chaotic happenings every time. She makes the school
look good - on the outside. Inside the school doors, it’s a whole ‘nother story.
[DECEITFUL] – Lying comes naturally to Elise. Whether it’s a rumour that slips easily off her tongue in order to
destroy someone’s social life, or a lie to her parents that ‘no, she wasn’t with a boy on Saturday night. Mr. Hawkins
must be seeing things; he’s on Xanax, you know’, it is almost a second nature to her. She revels in the drama her lies
can cause, and enjoys thinking them up. Mostly, however, they’re just there, on the tip of her tongue, when she
needs them.
[UNPREDICTABLE] – As those around Elise have noticed, she cannot be pigeonholed into any label whatsoever.
Her words, actions, likes, dislikes are all completely unpredictable. Elise can go from loving to hating something
within a mere twenty-four hours, and she is impossible to buy gifts for. If something sparks an idea in her mind,
she’ll act upon it almost immediately, without even thinking about the consequences. One cannot be around Elise
without being wary of what they’re getting into - there’s a rumour that she broke into the principal’s house and
vandalised the expensive portrait in the lounge - just because the idea grabbed her, and because she could.
ELLIE KALEO ⋆ 15 ⋆ Sophomore ⋆ Echo ⋆ Taissa Farmiga ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: forest clearings, architecture, storytelling, interesting accents
- Dislikes: rumors, porcelain dolls, artificial flowers, the sound of her voice on recording, absolute silence.
Close your eyes, the monster is still there, feeling strong, feeding on
your silence….  Cry your truth out loud tonight, the sky is yours.
As a young child, Ellie was a happy, talkative child. Her next door neighbor, Ilya, a girl not much younger than Ellie
herself, soon became her closest friend. Both sets of parents approved of and even encouraged their friendship: Ilya
was a rather quiet, unassuming girl whose parents fervently hoped would be positively impacted by Ellie’s
exuberant and extroverted nature. From the ages of three to eight, the two were near inseparable, sharing most of
their classes at school together. Ellie’s world revolved around the quiet Ilya, and she never dreamt of a life without
her.
However, not long after Ellie’s eighth birthday, and mere days before Ilya’s, Ellie decided to go present shopping.
Her mother had planned to take her the next day, but Ellie had chosen the present and wanted to get it before it
sold out. Not one to say no to her daughter, her mother relented and took her shopping. It was the first afternoon
in nearly five years that Ellie had spent without Ilya. When they returned home that night, Ilya’s distraught parents
notified them that Ilya had been kidnapped walking home from school. The day of her birthday was when her
remains were discovered, bruised and mutilated and abandoned in a ditch. That was the day Ellie stopped talking.
“Decisive muteness,” the doctor called it, but Ellie saw it more as “guilt manifesting itself as silence”. If she hadn’t
gone shopping that afternoon, she would have been there with Ilya.
Ellie enrolled into Mount Olympus High knowing no one else, and her first year of school was rather uneventful -
she seemed to melt into the background, white noise against the motley crue of students. This year, however, she’s
determined to try her hardest to make some new friends. Ellie does talk when she wants to, and loves telling stories
to those who will listen, but she chooses comfortable silence over forcing herself to talk about something
uncomfortable. Ilya wouldn’t have wanted her to spend the rest of her life under a vow of silence, and so Ellie’s plan
for her sophomore year is to try and break her habit of the past seven years. She can only hope she succeeds, even
slightly.
Often acts:
[WISTFUL] – Ellie often spends her time daydreaming and wishing that Ilya was still with her. Often she can be
seen staring into space pensively, a look of utter despair and sadness deep in her eyes. She tries not to let her
daydreaming affect her daily life, but sometimes it’s hard for Ellie to concentrate if her grieving mode is triggered by
something reminding her of her long-lost friend.
[TACITURN] – “Decisive muteness” is, by its very name and nature, the decision to be silent. It’s not that Ellie is
unable to talk, it’s just that - for the most part - she chooses not to. She prefers listening to people rather than
making them listen to her, but she’s trying to overcome that this year, and hopefully re-learn the art of socialising
that she once had. However, her silence does get frustrating at times, when others are trying to arouse a response
or opinion from her.
[WITHDRAWN] – As expected of someone who has undergone a traumatic experience, Ellie lost her bright and
chipper nature, folding in on herself once she no longer had Ilya. She has trouble speaking to others before they’ve
spoken to her, mumbles her words frequently when she does decide to speak, and isn’t exactly forthcoming about
personal information. Ellie’s afraid of getting close to someone only to get hurt again, but at the same time she
yearns for company and a shoulder to cry on.
PHILLIP EMERSON ⋆ 17 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Pan ⋆ Robert Sheehan ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: outdoors, the forest, parties, pan pipes
- Dislikes: shoes, being indoors, silence, bullies
Lookin’ for adventure, and whatever comes our way. Like a true
nature’s child, we were born, born to be wild.
Phillip always preferred the outdoors, even as a child. Lucky enough to have a house backing onto the woods, Phillip
would spent as much of his every waking moment that he could out in the forest. A lot of the time he wouldn’t even
do anything; he’d just lie down on the forest floor, soaking in the nature. His parents, nature-loving hippies
themselves, saw nothing wrong with Phillip’s behaviour, and actively encouraged it. In fact, they actively encourage
him in everything, and never disciplined him, no matter how much he acted out.
Due to his parents’ rather lack-lustre approach in parenting, Phillip started pushing the boundaries of what was and
wasn’t acceptable at a young age. Nothing he ever did seemed to get a rise out of them, and this lead to Phillip’s
addiction to cigarettes from the age of thirteen.
At school, Phillip loves to push everyone’s buttons. He’s friendly and well-acquainted with everyone, but he’s always
seeing how far he can push people before they snap. The drama team have kicked him out of the group numerous
times due to his behaviour, but he somehow always seems to worm his way back in.
Often acts:
[UNPREDICTABLE] – Prone to doing what he wants, when he wants, without any previous warning, Phillip is just
about as unpredictable as a person can get. Teachers have long given up trying to curb his wild ways, and students
have learnt that being around Phillip is a kind of adventure - one never knows just what he’ll say or do next.
[CHEEKY] – Quick-witted, obnoxious and with a penchant for grating on people’s nerves, ‘cheeky’ doesn’t even
really begin to describe Phillip properly. He’s forever talking back to teachers, and always has some kind of
audacious comment to add. A class clown, Phillips jokes are dirtier and bolder than the typical jokes, but the
students seem to love them.
[HUMOROUS] – If there is one thing Phillip can be relied upon for, it’s being funny. He loves hearing people laugh
at his jokes, and is forever trying out new ones - unfortunately for his teacher, most seem to be in class and at their
expense. Phillip has a quip for every situation, and doesn’t shy away from putting in his one-liners.
ADA PRITCHETT ⋆ 16 ⋆ Sophomore ⋆ Arachne ⋆ Kat Graham ⋆ OPEN
+ Likes: arachnids, weaving, silk fabric, Blink 182, Spider-Man
- Dislikes: corduroy, pumpkin soup, butterflies, sore losers
Isn’t she lovely?… And so deadly. Her kiss is fifteen times as poisonous
as that of the rattlesnake.
The biggest thing that separated Ada from other girls was her intense fascination with spiders. Where other girls
would shriek and run away, Ada would approach the arachnids with a reverent, almost loving gaze, picking them up
and handling them as if they were newborn babies. She was always asking her mother for a pet spider, but was
always vehemently denied as her mother was severely arachnophobic. She tried to convince Ada to focus on
“girlier” things (or more domestic hobbies), like cooking or sewing, but Ada brushed off her suggestions and kept to
her spider books.
In middle school, however, Ada had no choice but to take a home economics class, where she was introduced to the
craft of weaving. After reading up on the history and techniques of weaving, she grew to admire the grace and skill
it took to create a fine tapestry. That grace and skill, she realized, could only be rivaled by the way a spider spun its
web, and she was quite fascinated. It wasn’t long before Ada was entering competitions, earning first place more
often than not. As her competition was usually old ladies with decades of practice of under their belts, Ada always
felt particularly smug whenever she beat them.
At school, Ada is referred to as The Black Widow. Known for seducing boys, only to cruelly break their hearts, the
name suits her, and Ada herself is quite proud of it. The Black Widow is her favorite spider - strong, domineering,
and powerful -, everything Ada admires.
Often acts:
[SEDUCTIVE] – Much like a Black Widow spider, Ada gets a kick out of seducing boys, only to turn around and
bite their heads off - figuratively. Once a boy gets caught in her web of seduction and lies, she likes to spin them
around and further entrap them, toying with them until they eventually cave in to what she wants. She’s a dark
seductress, yet there always seem to be people who fall for her charm.
[BOASTFUL] – Effort, time and skill goes into all of Ada’s tapestries, and she doesn’t shy away from letting people
know. The amount of certificates and medals she’s won for her work are proudly on display in her room, and Ada is
always talking loudly about how good she is at weaving, and how skilled she is. She enjoys showing off and making
others aware of not just her prowess with a loom, but whatever else she’s good at as well.
[POISONOUS] – Cross Ada and you’ll get bitten - badly. She’s a fierce girl with an equally fierce bite, and doesn’t
shy away from venomous words. Her wrath is near unbridled, and her insults are excruciatingly painful to behold.
She’s always got a mean word to say to those she dislikes, and has been known to cause people to break down after
throwing an insult their way.

Mean girls, well, I ain’t a mean girl but I’ve known a few. They’ll
make you cry, baby, and then blame it on you.
Even as a child, destruction enthralled Anna. Be it destruction of relationships, of people, of things or even of places,
she was always seeking out destroyed things. Toys never lasted long in her hands - or the hands of others - and
more often than not were broken beyond repair within minutes of her touching them.
Anna had trouble making friends when she was young. The other children viewed her as too mean, and her
teachers saw her as nothing more than a troublemaker. Everything seemed to fall to ruin whenever Anna was
around, and even her parents began to feel the strain of raising a child such as Anna. They divorced when she was
seven, and instead of wallowing in pity about it, Anna rejoiced in the drama the divorce caused in her life.
At school, Anna is always stirring up drama of some kind. She thrives in the high school environment, and has
developed a small group of friends that share her love for drama and destruction. Anna loves being at the school,
and is always trying to see how much trouble she can cause.
Often acts:
[MEAN] – No self-respecting destructor would have a nice-girl personality, and Anna is no exception. She’s always
got an acidic retort on the tip of her tongue, and doesn’t shy away from saying them. Mean is Anna’s middle name,
and she loves it.
[CALLOUS] – If being mean wasn’t enough, Anna also takes great pleasure in being as absolutely callous as she
possibly can be. Regardless of the person, or of their current personal troubles, Anna will not hesitate in verbally -
and sometimes even physically - abusing someone, often using their personal worries as fuel for her vicious words.
She gets a kick out of watching people cry because of her actions.
[VENGEFUL] – Anna’s one redeeming feature, however, is her love of exacting revenge. Though she knows deep
down that vengeance involves helping someone as much as it involves hurting someone, she prefers to just focus on
the evil aspect of it. Students are well aware, however, that Anna is one of the best people to ask for help with a
revenge plan - though they do try to avoid her the rest of the time.
DANNY BOYD ⋆ 17 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Deimos ⋆ Evan Peters ⋆ CLOSED
He always secretly wondered if he really was crazy and that’s why he got such a kick out of scaring people - and
even more secretly, he hoped that he was. People hear the word ‘crazy’ and their heart starts beating in fear, just
the kind of thing Danny liked.
The older he grew, the more he learned how to use himself to induce fear in others. An upturned lip at someone
who happened to shoot him a glance on the street; perpetually curled fists as though looking for a fight; narrowed
eyes; confident, intimidating posture - all this and more were in his repertoire, one Danny prided himself most
highly on.
At school, Danny keeps mostly to himself and Parker - when he’s not off intimidating others, that is. His naturally
threatening demeanor means that many students go out of their way to avoid him, though, unfortunately for them,
Danny enjoys seeking them out. He gets a kick out of seeing people cry, especially because of him.
Often acts:
[UNAPPROACHABLE] – Whereas Parker goes out of his way to be perceived as approachable, Danny does
directly the opposite. Everything about him - his manner, his walk, the look in his eyes - say fuck off, and he can’t
help but grin to himself whenever people see him coming. The fear in their eyes, like a deer caught in the
headlights, is like a drug to him, and its his very presence that causes it.
[SNARKY] – Rude, brash, sarcastic - for Danny, nothing beats a snarky retort. Usually he tacks something scary
onto the end, be it a snarl, or an intimidating look, but the retort in and of itself is what amused Danny. He finds the
look of utter demoralisation on the other person’s face a turn on.
[TIDY] – For all his scariness, Danny is an incredibly tidy person. He always knows exactly where he’s put
everything, and loathes things being changed around or not put back exactly where they came from. He puts it
down to the fact that an intimidating person cannot be a messy person - it loses the ‘bang’ that tidiness brings. He’s
also discovered that extreme tidiness makes some people extremely uncomfortable, and since then Danny’s gone
out of his way to be tidier than ever before.
PARKER BOYD ⋆ 17 ⋆ Junior ⋆ Phobos ⋆ Evan Peters ⋆ CLOSED
+ Likes: Stephen King, Stanley Kubrick, Hitchcock, horror stories, the monsters in the closet
- Dislikes: birds, flowers, people who scream at the slightest provocation, babies
Hush little baby don’t say a word, and never mind that noise you
heard. It’s just the beast under your bed, in your closet in your head.
Parker has always thrived off of fear. Other people’s fears. He was always probing people, asking them what they
were afraid of, what scared them most. Somehow, no matter how reluctant the person was, Parker was able to get
it out of them; to find out their deepest, darkest fears. And, as any young slightly psychopathic boy would do, he
went out of his way to exploit those fears. When the girl next door admitted she was afraid of ghosts, Parker made
up a story about how he was sure he’d seen a face at her window a few nights earlier - pale, ethereal, ghostly. The
girl hadn’t been able to sleep in her own room for three weeks afterwards, and despite being punished severely for
lying, Parker reveled in the fear one little story had caused.
His penchant for scaring people and exploiting their fears grew the older he became. If people were afraid of the
dark, he’d find a way to leave them in the dark for three hours. If they were afraid of spiders, he’d spend days
catching numerous arachnids, and then releasing them at once into the victim’s bedroom whilst they slept. No fear
was too small or too big for Parker to exploit, and his parents often feared for his mental health. It didn’t help that
his twin brother was similar, nor that the one time the two were sent to therapy, they scared the therapist so much
she suffered a nervous breakdown and moved countries.
At school, both Parker and his brother are on the outskirts of any social clique - everyone’s too afraid to get to know
them, especially with the stories surrounding Parker’s skill at finding out people’s fears. Parker doesn’t mind -
Danny’s more interesting then any other student, and the two are much more frightening when together, rather
than on their own.
Often acts:
[MANIPULATIVE] – If Parker were to say exactly how he gets people to spill their secrets - though, of course, he
never will - it would be through sheer lying and manipulation. Parker is incredibly adept at pretending to care about
people, and pretending to be nice, especially when he first meets people. Often this throws them off guard, and the
nicer he is, the more willing they are to spill their secrets. Of course, once they have, and Parker’s got everything he
needs to exploit their fear, he drops the nice-guy act and shows his true colors - and they aren’t very nice.
[FEAR-INDUCING] – When Parker’s not playing the role of Mr. Nice Guy, he is going out of his way to scare
people. From intimidating random people on the street to creating complex, convoluted plans for specific people,
Parker is always trying to strike fear into the heart of someone, and enjoys a good challenge when he finds one.
[HARD-WORKING] – All this lying and planning are not easy tasks. Parker works incredibly hard at times to make
sure people are afraid of him; sometimes his plans are months in the making, full of late nights and early mornings
and freezing his butt off in the middle of winter as he puts the finishing touches on the ‘dead man hanging from the
tree’, but it’s always worth it to see the victim’s faces, and the absolute fear in their eyes for those sweet few
seconds. If only he put in as much effort into his school work.

When she was a child, Imogen’s favorite thing to do was to play ‘Post Office’. Usually all it consisted of was getting
her friends to write letters to each other, deliver it into her makeshift ‘post office’ that she created in her backyard,
and then waiting for her to deliver the letters to their respective recipients. Sometimes however – much to her
mother’s chagrin – Imogen ‘Post Office’ one step further and would steal her mother’s mail, only to “deliver” them
days or weeks afterwards. Once, she was caught doing the same with one of the houses down the street, and her
mother banned ‘Post Office’ all together.
However this didn’t dissuade Imogen from her dream of being a postal worker, and she convinced the local postal
worker to let her help deliver messages once a week. He agreed, and Imogen spent many a blissful afternoon
traipsing her neighborhood, delivering important mail to not-so-important people. It gave her mother a well-
needed break, helped the postman, and entertained Imogen, so all three were happy with the situation.
When Imogen started high school however, she had to stop her postal errands, and instead applied to be the
school’s mail carrier. She gets to school early in the morning to sort out the mail, and after being marked present by
a teacher, goes from classroom to classroom delivering what needs to be delivered. She absolutely loves it, and the
teachers haven’t had a wrong letter delivered since she started the job.
Often acts:
[DIM] – Imogen isn’t the sharpest crayon in the box, and doesn’t pretend to be. She’s well aware that she’s not all
that intelligent, and makes up for her dimness in plenty of other ways. Teachers love her, and despite her usually
abysmal marks in class, she always seems to scrape by with a pass. She does try in school though, or at least,
attempts to. Imogen almost always gets distracted, which doesn’t exactly help her grades.
[GULLIBLE] – Unfortunately for Imogen, dimness and a gullible nature go hand in hand. She’s often the butt of
practical jokes, and yet no matter how many times she’s tricked into believing something, she’ll always believe it.
Even those students whom she knows are the pranksters still have her falling for their every word. She falls for even
the most obviously incorrect of rumors, and has yet to grasp the concept of not believing a single thing on April
Fools Day. It’s even become a competition between certain students to see who can come up with the most
ludicrous rumor and still have Imogen believe it.
[SWEET] – Despite her gullible and somewhat dim nature, Imogen makes up for her flaws with her sweet, loving
nature. She’s always got a smile on her face, and the saying ‘sweet as sugar’ has never befitted a person as well as it
fits the young wanna-be-postal-worker.
