Have you been able to manage them? If so, how did you get them under control?
I am lucky enough to be blessed with both. :)
For the non-epileptic seizures my biggest success
came from looking at my environment:
What am I eating that might set them off (gluten and
meat do it for me every time!)?
What extra medication am I on that might be
triggering (I’m sensitive to herbal and pharmaceuticals)?
Is my house stress free (not horribly dirty)?
Am I getting what I need to be happy?
I’ve also spent years working on cognitive behavior
therapy.
Results: my seizures are way down, but not gone. My
best advice to anyone else would be to be thoughtful about what might be a trigger. Be willing to try new things- something might just work. And be patient with your body. It’s having the seizures because it thinks something is wrong, even though we can’t see it.
Sorry there’s not better advice, but I hope this helps.
