Has anyone ever died from a meningococcal MCV

vaccine?

There are 2 vaccines. One came in 1970. The second

was 2005. Only a small amount of from population
dies from vaccines. The vaccines are for 2 different
strains of meningitis. Children age 1 & children who
live in dormitories are at risk for getting the disease.
You can have an allergic reaction but normally the
injection site gets red & sore. You should tell your
healthcare provider what allergies you have. I wrote
allergies in red. Very few people die from the
vaccines. I have my nursing education & experience.
