Tasks
Task 1 Routing and Switching Essentials
In order to successfully complete this task, you will need to access Final Online Theory assessment
task on the Cisco Networking Academy’s Netspace site.
1. Using your Login credentials log on to the www.netacad.com site
2. Use the Guide to Access the Final Assessment.pdf (Understanding how Cisco Network
Academy works) to gain or refresh your understanding of the interface and how to register
to the academy and access the courses you are taking.
3. Ensure that you are enrolled in the class Stage 2 - Switching & Routing, if you cannot see
this class then contact the OTEN IT Helpdesk ensuring that you are enrolled accordingly.
4. Select the class Stage 2 - Switching & Routing
5. Click on the Assignment option in the navigation pane and then select the Final Exam
option.
6. If your results are less than 80%, you will need to reschedule the exam for an additional
attempt. (Note that you ONLY get two attempts at this exam)
7. Once you have completed Final Exams and record your results accordingly in the table
below and a teacher will check your results online in the Cisco Network Academy website
for these exams.

You must achieve 80% or more in each of these exams to gain a satisfactory in this task.
