Word formation process are basically how new words are created by modification of existing
words or by complete innovation, which in turn become a part of the language. Formation
process also called Morphological Process.

2. List FIVE word formation processes.

Thrifty, untidy, friendliness, thoroughly, happily

3. Based on the five word formation processes on Question 2, form TWO new words for each
one of them.
Thrifty – thriftily, thriftiness
Untidy – tidiness, tidily
Friendliness – friendliness, friendship
Thoroughly – thoroughness, thoroughfare
