ENTRANCE:

Padas 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the ones that are best suited to locate the entrance of a
West facing house.
Padas 1 and 2 can be used if the space after utilizing padas 3, 4, 5 and 6 seems
less (however, this seldom happens).
The entrance of a West facing house can also be located in padas 1 and 2 (only if
there’s no option to use 3, 4, 5 and 6 padas); this entrance may not give very good
results but will not give bad results either.

the main doors of west-facing homes should be slightly towards the north-west or in
the middle. South-west direction should be completely avoided, for placing the main
door.

the children’s room can be planned in the south, west or north-west

the guest room can be in the north-west

According to Vastu, puja room and living room should be in the north-east of the
house, as it is the most auspicious corner.

For the master bedroom, the south-west direction is preferred. If you have a multi-
level house, your master bedroom should be on the top floor. For the kitchen, opt
for the south-east corner.

Also, as per Vastu, the kitchen should not be directly under or over the puja room,
bedroom, or toilet.
