1. Consider a superposition of plane waves:

Ψ(x) = a1 eik1 x + a2 eik2 x

then, calculate:

(a) the probablity density.

(b) the current density.
(c) identify the fringe and the interference parts for both cases.
(d) at what values of k1 & k2 the inetrference part of current density vanishes?
(e) There is still interference in the probability density due to the presence of left and
right currents, just not in the probability current. True or false?
