Title : Solubility of Substances

Aim : To explore the verifying levels of solubility of common household substances

Hypothesis:
1. Salt and sugar have high level of solubility compare to baby powder, flour and rice.

Test hypothesis and data collection:

a) Apparatus: Beaker,spoon
b) Substance : 100ml of water, salt, sugar, rice, baby powder and flour
c) Steps;
1. Pour 100ml water into each beaker.
2. Put one tea spoon of each substances into the beaker.
3. Stir the substances in the beaker in two minutes.
4. Observe the level of solubility of each substances.
5. Record the data.

Analyze data:

TYPES OF SUBSTANCE LEVELS OF SOLUBILITY

Rice Insoluble

Baby powder Moderate solubility

Salt High solubility

Sugar High solubility

Flour Moderate solubility

Conclusion:
1.Salt and sugar have high level of solubility compare to baby powder, flour and rice.
